I started this round by showing up a bit late and not doing any full swing warm up.  I did spend some time on the putting green, which seems to have helped.  It didn't fully get rid of the 3+ putts, but I did better on average than I have been. 

The tee shot on the first hole was comical.  I toe pushed it to a tree about 100 yards out, which bounced back to the right, hit the roof of a tin shed and rolled back down to the ground about 40 yards in front of the tees.  Didn't get much better that hole.  Pulled it together a bit on the back 9, but still had lots of errors.  I switched to only using my 5 iron for tee shots after the 4th hole and mistakenly brought it out once on the back 9.  I think I'll need to tee off with this one more as it was going farther and much straighter than driver.

Tough morning out on the course. I had a troubled start with my chipping where I couldn't get solid up and downs and had to take two or three chips. Shot a 52 on the front. The back 9 was a big improvement shooting a 46. A chip in par and a 300 yard drive where the highlights of the back 9.

Lots of great shots, lots of whaddya doin'? moments. 8 pars, 5 bogey, 4 doubles, a triple and a birdie on #9. Lost 3 Elixirs and switched to a Srixion q star tour. Pretty sure I prefer the Elixir on approach and around the greens.

I was +1 thru 10 holes but +6 thru 14 when the horn sounded and saved me from a massive melt down. There’s always tomorrow. Wedges were saving me big time. 9 times inside 100 yards I was within 15’. However, 2 OB and 1 in the water in 4 holes meant I was scrambling for doubles.

Memorial Day round, unfortunately the only thing particularly memorable was the holiday.  And driving the green on a par 4.  305 yards to the middle of a sharp dogleg left with water all down the left and to the front of the green.  A great high draw over the corner 285 all carry to the apron and about 10 yards of release.  Front nine 3 doubles with 3 THREE PUTTS. 1 bogey and 1 birdie.  2 bogies and 7 pars on the back.  I missed 6 or 7 putts inside 12 feet for birdie.  So my Cameron circa 62 #2 is on time out now.  The circa 62 #3 is off of the bench and back in the game

Early round before work and really starting to game the new club setup.  With my old putter on the bench and my other old putter back in the game (Cameron circa 62 #3) putting was much improved, no 3 putts today.  2 birdies, 9 bogies (no doubles today!!!!) and 7 pars.  With the exception of burning a few cup edges and 3 less than stellar tee shots, the round went well.  Match play round of 32 (NCGA),men’s club match play tournaments and a charity scramble next week, and probably some work too

Haven’t been too active within the forum overall over the past few weeks, but I’ve def been working on my game and grinding away. The last few weeks had a few rounds in the upper 80s and low 90s, with the score not really reflecting my progress. 

But today, everything really came together all while losing 5 golf balls no less … three luckily led to bogeys, with the others being a double and a triple. My putter was singing with only 28 putts overall today.

Still, I’m really happy with my round today, and only slightly irritated to have 3 putted 18 for a bogey. An 84 just sounds so much better than an 85. Lol

Better with the driver today and solid iron play.  40/37... Birdied the short par 4 #2 for the second day in a row.  Hit 14/18 GIR which I think is a record for me.  Putting was off today and left a birdie putt one rev short in the jaws on #18 to shoot my age.

Played 9 today to pair with an odd 9 holes I played Friday PM so going into today I knew I had an E score going and today I managed to keep the same ball in play, shoutout to Oncore Elixirs. 

Similarities between the two 9 holes sessions I finished bogey-double both days. I may have to change my name to richk7holes. Took my phone out 0 times, thus no pictures. Also 0 3 putts both days. Maybe putts don't like when I take their picture  

Differences on Friday I hit almost every FW but a hair off in the rest of the game. Today hit only 1 FW and 3/9 gir but scrambled like a maniac for 7 holes before I pressed my luck to a whammy and a double whammy on 8-9.
