Most of my friends are Browns fans. As a Raiders fan, I can commiserate with you after the last 13 years of misery the Raiders have put me through. You got a hell of a good coach. If they give him the time, he will bring them back.

Problem is our ownership has illustrated no patience in allowing development of anyone. I'm with you that I like Hue but at the end of the day we are still the Browns. As such, I've come to expect misery by 4pm on Sunday.

That's an interesting discussion that I've had living here in Columbus and being a Buckeye fan. I tend to side on the fact that even as bad as the Browns are, they'd still probably kill the Buckeyes. The fact is that only 2% of college players go on to play in the NFL and the percentage is obviously even lower as to if they become starters or superstars. Granted - the Buckeyes percentage might be a little higher than the overall percentage of players that go on to the NFL.

 

With that being said, the Browns are still a team of players that were of the 2% of ALL college players to go on and actually play in the NFL and the Buckeyes, as good as they may be against other elite college programs, are still a team of players in which very few are really good enough to make it in the NFL.

Couldn't agree more.

No matter how bad the Browns seem there is a less than zero chance a team of college players beats them.  No way, no how, no where.  Even a team of college all stars wouldn't stand a chance.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the last couple years OSU squads would have competed with the Browns and probably won a game or two if they'd play best of 10.

 

I agree that overall the NFL teams would dominate, but living here in Columbus you know how bad the Brownies are lol.
