Keep trying, everyone is trying to get the shots.

My appt is Wed 11:42am .

My 80 year old Monday walking group buddy drove 35 miles to get his shot a week ago... no line; got shot and came home.  He got the Moderna shot.  Now, no one has the Moderna; only Phizer being given.

Just got the first shot.  Sitting here being monitored for side effects.  Personally I hope to wake up tomorrow with some super powers as the side effect, but I’ll settle for improved ball-striking or clubhead speed.

Just think how scarce the vaccine would be if somebody started a rumor that a possible side effect is increased swing speed!!!  🤣

Yep, already check on the Ford performance tune. It does not void the warranty as long as its installed by a Ford dealer or an ASE certified mechanic. Although I could easily do the tune installation myself, i will pay for the installation to keep the warranty intact.

Here is your challenge.... You have to break 80 before your truck can go over 80!

He used to walk 18 a couple of years ago, but he can't do that anymore, and we are a little slower.  My Monday 18-hole foursome is now a 9-hole 3-some, unless my wife joins us.  No, no one died.  One 77-year old Marine left to play at another course in town for free; can't blame him!!  Now it's just an 80-year old, a 78-year old, and I'm the young'en at 73... well my wife is 65; she skews the curve!!

My Dad's 88 still walking fine and working once a week doing maintenance work for his church. Cutting the lawn, bushes, installing windows, building shelving, painting. His driveway is about 1/8 of a mile long and sometimes he shovels the snow (Upstate NY) by hand. He's not even on any medication. I could only wish I hold up that well.

In full swing now to start lining up donations and prizes for our music association's golf event in May. Of course I was "elected" to reach out to golf companies to see about prizes & possible donations. Every single one so far has been like "oh yeah great cause but we're not going to help you". I get it, they get inundated with requests, but don't have pages on your sites about wanting to help charitable organizations but then turn around and say "oh well we only want to help very specific organizations".

We may end up having to go out and purchase things to use as prizes, but that's going to really cut into what we're looking to make for our scholarship fund. Just as reference, here's what our normal fundraising totals have been the past few years from our usual "big" events:

2018/2019 - $73,862
2019/2020 - $50,426
2020/2021 - $0

Hence having a golf tournament for the first time in like, 8 years since our last one to try and get funds for our senior scholarships. All of our big things like working Gillette Stadium, performing in parades, and having concerts have all been cancelled. It's a bummer.

If they can pull a shaft, they should be able to pull an adapter. At least from an equipment perspective there isn’t a difference that I know of. The bigger question is whether the guy doing the work knows what he is doing.

Yeah I didn’t know if they had the shaft extractors or not. But yeah I agree with you, maybe they’ll just let me do it if so
