Man, @Golfspy_CG2, I've already been having buyer's remorse for not knowing about the Pars and Stripes edition when I bought my Black and White Speedzone.  After seeing yours...man...I'm at a loss for words on how good they look!

I know about the honeymoon period too.  Mine started with hitting towards the back of the driving range and ended in June when I couldn't do anything but hit slices.  Today, it made sweet, sweet make up lovins.  I hit a wonderful draw that had a beautiful rollover at the top of the arc.

Drivers are fickle things.  Well no matter how long the honeymoon lasts,  her looks should last  quite a while 😜

I have yet to try out the new Speedzone, current gamer is the F9 in yellow and black and it just screams confidence off the tee. Coming from the Taylormade M3 430CC the larger head of the F9 gave me more confidence to let it go. The F9 will stay in the bag until I try the Speedzone which I doubt will make a big difference in yardage and accuracy.

Just got the SZ Extreme in the yellow, and I really like the colors, but to be honest I had no choice since my local shop discounted to 400 already and no one else has so I will gladly take the yellow with the discount. I have it in 9 with the AV Blue 65 S, and am really liking it. I went with the extreme as I was looking for a bit more forgiveness moving on from my R15. I have to say I am very pleased with the club. I hit a couple shots this weekend that before would have been way off the mark but found the rough just off the fairway. Distance feels to be similar to a touch longer in moving down in loft and being able to hit a bit more up on it without going too high (was in a 10.5 before and the R15s were lofted up from the stamped loft due to the forward weight having less forgiveness). I don't think you can go wrong with either one, just a great club.

I've had my Speedzone on the course 3 times now and a couple times at the range and I have begun to get a good feel for what the club head is doing at impact and a rough idea of where the ball impact is.  I can't tell an exact spot, but I can feel toe/center/heel and I can feel if the club head is way open.

My only complaint about the driver is that it is so loud compared to the rest of my clubs that I don't get the sensation of release on a center strike.  All drivers are noisy because of the way they are made, so that's just something to live with.

Gotta watch those speedzone drivers really close. Apparently the heads fall off the shaft really easily. Bryson is must know this as he keeps extras in the car just in case........ just sayin'.

maybe only 10 back-ups then. I bet there would be a lot of people on here that would pay $4k to add 100+ yards to their average drive and increase their peak by 150.

I'd be up there with Bryson then forsure...  There were a couple of wild shots today on the PGA tour.  Kinda looked like a few weekend hackers out there, hitting there second shots from another hole's tee box.

The challenge for everyone with a Speedzone is to see if you can swing so hard that you break it, like Byron did. 🤣😂😅

How do you know which Cobra to try?

Do I go with the Extreme or the other one?

I know I need to get fit, but I was just curious which driver is for what type of player

What do you play now?

The Speedzone should be lower launching and lower spinning all other things equal.

The Speedzone Xtreme should be more forgiving.

Anyone can play either. The regular Speedzone is nearly as forgiving as my G30 (from what I’ve seen on MOI anyway).

Give them each a swing!

I both am and am not a fan of Cobra's labels as to the suggested handicap range on their website for the two models.  I get that they are trying to use that to show that the Extreme is more forgiving, but the hosel settings on the regular Speedzone can help with forgiveness as well as swapping the weights around.  It really all depends on what you need for your specific game.

... The Speedzone is almost like a MB iron as far as center contact and sound. It has a very small "dead center" of the face but sounds quite different than a really well struck shot just a little off center. I tend to hit mine a hair high and toward the toe which produces that louder sound but when I hit it dead center, it sounds and feels great. Fwiw, I did not find the F9 as finicky for sound and feel but of course the Xtreme is much more forgiving. For me at least it is a small price to pay but ymmv ...

I think I just had to go through an adjustment period.  The more I have hit it, the less noticeable it has become.  I have also made a major adjustment to the height I tee the ball too.  I kept noticing that my ball marks were all high on the face, so bringing the ball down on the tee has moved the ball to the middle of the face.  Not perfect, dead center, but much better than it was.

I hit this in a 10.5 Tense blue the other day and was nothing but impressed.  Long and forgiving.  I budgeted for $350 and this is $400.  I might suck it up and go back to get it.

That's the exact setup I have.  I have it set to STD D right now and since I figured out my tee height issue, my drives on the range were super long and straight with a left tendency.  As a side note, the shaft came logo down at the 10.5 setting, but rolled all the way over to where it is now, the shaft is now logo up.

Just tried pairing my driver with the Arccos app, no matter how I aim the camera at the sensor, focus, distance, lights on/off, it keeps failing.

Any ideas?
