Good morning to all on a lovely Monday morning. Sunny and a bit cool here, but warming up rapidly. It’s beginning to feel more and more like spring. In February, hmmm?  Why do I get the feeling this will come back and bite me in the ass. This morning I’d thought I would share another one of my wife’s watercolour paintings.  The sugar maple cabin, now nicely framed.  Really proud of her.  Have a great day.

@rkj427 it was pretty cool! Funny thing, after I shook his hand, I said - "Hookin" Handley, isn't that what Chris Schenkel called you? He laughed & said, yea among other things. LOL.  Handley was the original cranker. He's a nice man! 

Bob is 2nd from right, Mr. Russ Mills (also retired PBA)to the left of Bob & on the end in gray shirt is Retired Part Time PBA Bowler & Local Bowling Legend Mr. Lenny Biondi. Lenny smooth left-hander. The guy can still bowl!

Morning. Day after the first round of the year and it's back to the practice range for me. Trying to see if I can fix the driver on the range and get ready for the new year. Still at least a month and change away from getting a membership but at least I'll be more ready for the year.

Most courses rent clubs .. may not be what you like to use, but you could get out and play.

Good morning all!

Had a nice weekend getting out to the playground even with the snow. We also went swimming at a local hotel with a spa that lets you use the pool if you are using the spa. So the wife got a few moments to relax and we got some swim time in. Now we are back to work, though my Mom is on vacation this week and will be coming up for a visit this afternoon so hoping to knock out some work to get a little extra time to visit.

Good morning and happy Monday all.

Holy smokes!  are we through the winter?  Is Spring actually coming six weeks early this year?  High temps in the mid- to upper-50's for a good part of the next 10 days!

61* on Sunday, so there's a good chance I'm going to try to find an open course somewhere.

Yeah forecast for upcoming weekend has 59 Saturday and 70 on Sunday! I may play both days! Wife is going to be angry, LOL.

Mother Nature is a tease! I have a tentative tee time for Sunday....still snow on parts of the course...we'll see how much dries up after the melt and rain.

Gooooood morning fellow spies! Wild week of weather ahead of us here in Wisconsin as the highs today and tomorrow are in the 60s, then Wednesday it will be a high of 22  before moving back towards the 50s and 60s into the weekend. I would absolutely LOVE to find a course to get out on, but not sure if it'll be doable as we leave for Mexico in two weeks and will revolve the next two weekends around our boys as much as possible. Also supposed to be some high winds so not the best golf weather potentially.

As I see @GolfSpy_APH mentioned previously, have an OEM call on the schedule later this morning so looking forward to that!

Good morning! Finished up some morning project status meetings and I'm now enjoying a nice cup of French Roast coffee! Thanks for posting your preferred coffee @cksurfdude! I haven't found a great one a while.

I might get out to the golf course and test the Cobra LTDx today (hopefully)! There still a little snow in the shaded areas of the course I was hoping to go to, so we'll see.

After work, we're planning on doing a bike ride with the kids on a local paved trail!

@GolfSpy_APH - Last time we moved, we celebrated with takeout sushi and Bacardi & Cokes. Was a great way to start winding down after a stressful, sweaty, busy day!

@IndyBonzo - We have a family trip planned to Bonita Springs at the end of April! Let me know if you find any gem golf courses! I'm trying to plan one morning where I can get out golfing!

First official tee time on the books for next Sunday! Weather looking like mid-60s and sunny as of now. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Good morning you fine Spies! 

The weather in Northwest Arkansas has been unreal this last week. Temps in the high 60s - 70s every single day with no rain. I've taken full advantage of it and played several 9 hole rounds after work. Was supposed to play a full round yesterday, but my buddy's family all had the flu so we skipped it. 

I have been pleasantly surprised at just how much of a difference all the garage practice has made. I spoke earlier this year about how my goal was to drop my handicap down to single digits again using a combination of indoor practice and instruction using Clay Ballards instruction series as well as using strategies laid out in two books: Every Shot Counts and The Four Fundamentals of Golf. It has paid off in spades. I am striking the ball as well as I ever have. My 9 hole rounds are now pretty consistently between 38-42. I'm so close to that even par round... soooooo close. I've always been a pretty good iron player, but my weakness has been off the tee and that's where I think the vast majority of my improvement has come. I'm only missing a fairway or two now and the ball is pretty much always in play. 

I don't think its any one particular thing... swing reps at home are important, but following a proper instruction regimen from either an in-person coach or video series and practicing good golf strategy on every single shot are equally as important. When you combine them all together you start to see the improvement unfold.

Good morning my fellow crazies!!

Happy Monday to everyone. It's a nice 50* and sunny out this morning. Sadly there's going to be rain off and on all week. That sucks for more than just rain. My new cabinets for the laundry room as supposed to be here this week and we have to go pick them up. Hopefully we can find a time during the week once they're here to pick them up when it's not raining as the trailer is an open one. Oh well, we're figure something out.

Another glorious week ahead of work and no golf. Hopefully that gets fixed soon as we approach March. I know Spring is pretty much off and on rain, but hopefully it will be more off than on this year.

Offering the usual oxymoron of a Good Monday morning my fellow spies. Doing the worker drone thing all day for the tiara wearing totalitarian. NO GOLF. 
   Wonderful day on the course yesterday. Great weather of 80+ degrees with a non-overpowering wind. All of the AAA’s were in a great trash talking mood and NO dire elderly medical issues arose during or after the round. The only thing missing from yesterday’s outing was my golf game. I got beat like a red-headed stepchild. One of the minor problems with golf is that unlike in other sports, you don’t get a 1st round draft pick for getting last. 
@IndyBonzo safe travels and @GolfSpy_APH hope the move to the new digs goes fast, easy, and well. 
  May everyone have the energy to have the tenacity to make this Monday your own….Me, I am already in need of a nap.

Good Monday morning all!

This weather is outrageous! With a forecast of 93* today, a new record will be set and then we'll drop back into the 50*-60* range mid-week...  will require A/C today...

Task of the day is to finalize travel arrangements for Myrtle Beach trip scheduled for first week in May. Really looking forward to seeing old friends and maybe even picking their pockets on the course. If recent history holds true, I better take a little extra to pay my golf debts while there...

Hope to get some time in with the net today as well.
