Jason I think you win the early bird award every morning.  I've had work get in the way for the community calls lately, but I may just have to schedule a conference call for that time here soon 😁.

I'd love to see you be able to make it one day. I understand how work can get in the way of being able to talk golf, though.

I don't get much time during the work day, except lunch and breaks to get on here. They're the reason I get up so early, 6 o'clock comes early, so I wake up around 3:15 so my coffee kicks in and I become a more personable person before heading in.

We will be back in January to get out of the snow! Stay at True Blue!  Great course

Yes, it's a great course.  Years ago I joined a buddy for his 50th birthday for a week staying at Pawleys.  We played 10 courses in 6 days.  Caledonia and True Blue were my two favs.

Good morning

It's supposed to be great here today.  Gotta take my shaggy over due pup to groomer so I'll probably only get 9 in while he's there.  Hopefully back to 18 holes tomorrow!

Have a terrific day Spies!

I did that yesterday... took my shaggy self to the barber and got a haircut.  Actually, I got all of them cut, what few are left.  😆

GM Y'all- Had a helluva T-Storm/Hail storm, then a little bit of hail just for good measure roll through last night(this morning). Weather radios and sirens seem to have everything timed just right- every time I'd start to drift off again- one or both would go off. At least the greens should be REALLY receptive. Too bad I won't be able to take advantage of it. Hope y'all have a great day. Nothing but F&Gs and LOW scores for those playin- and as a reminder- us worker bees got this and there's nothin we can't handle!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone, looking forward to a bright sunny, though not that warm Thursday. Got to have a fun doctors appointment this morning, everyone's favorite. Wrapping up my intro for the Edel test after hammering it out last night. Trying to find that line between verbose and detailed. Hope everyone has a great morning.

Heading over this morning for my second PT session.  They did the electronic stim patches with heat on Tuesday along with a handful of stretches.  Today is likely a repeat but maybe adding "cupping".  He immediately noted how bound up my spinae somethingorothers were.  No way of knowing exactly without MRI but doesn't think that's needed. Hope all this pays off.

Possibly the "erector spinae" .. large, long and very important muscles in the back. Sounds like they're doing a lot of good things for you - went through all the same last year... Cupping may feel weird at first but believe me it can be pretty effective on strained or spasming muscles .. and don't worry the little red circles fade quickly!

Yes, that's the group of suspects.  I've been working feverishly on my core muscle group since the start of the back muscle strain this past January.  Our two rec centers have a myriad of torture machines that I'm still learning how to use.  One in particular is the gut buster on rails - I think it's called the AbCoaster 😜.

Do you recall what you did to aggravate your spinae's?  Mine was while teeing off.  Of course the stubborn German/Irish me just kept playing through the discomfort thinking a couple days rest between rounds and a couple Ibuprofen would take care things.

He just turned 60 and he’s a young 60.  He loves doing stuff and he sells them quickly because he doesn’t charge much.
There’s very few water balls, he searches along the edges of the holes and picks them up throws them in cart.  Cleans and sorts them.  He sold the worst of the group by the box for $4 dozen min 6 dozen, they go like crazy.

Last time I played Caledonia there were a bunch of hecklers on the deck. My buddy and I typically decide up front, putt everything or inside the leather is good. That day it was putt everything. Coming into the green he had a long putt and left it about 18 inches short. As he approached the second put the deck started yelling out " Are you going to make him putt that" Quickly thinking I responded " For $1000.00 your dam right. It was silent in less than a second. He made the putt and they all cheered.  I beat him anyway but it was a fun thing to do with the crowd.

I like True Blue and Caledonia. I will also add Heritage as a good course in that area. I'll actually be in that area next weekend. My daughter has her conference championships for track and field in Myrtle Beach. You just have to take advantage of opportunities to bring your clubs. A golfer has to do what a golfer has to do!

What school and events does your daughter compete in? My eldest was running middle distance for University of Houston up until last month when she decided she'd had enough.

Good morning, or really afternoon for me. Got a busy weekend ahead, but a fun one. Taking a trip to watch my alma mater's spring football game and get some golf in at our University Course where I have my personal best round. Hope everyone has an awesome day, stay safe and hit 'em well if you get out today!

Yep!  Heritage was one of the 10 we played.  Others besides Pawleys,  included TPC Myrtle, Kings North, and a couple on the north end... Oyster Bay and some of the Cat courses.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
