... When graphite in drivers was a new thing, some would not use hqadcovers since the head was metal with no whipping. They soon discovered that the iron heads were smacking the shaft and causing scratches, nicks and sometimes gouges if going over a big bump too fast in a cart. So waxing the shaft was a trick to protect it from getting too much damage, although there would still be some. That's about the times some discovered head covers protect shafts as much as heads! We have come a long way since then.

Curiosity killed the cat. Even though my Motore X F3 is working well for me, I saw an ebay deal on a real Ventus Red 5S with Velocore that was too good I could not pass up. I will now be able to do my experiment on whether their is a dispersion improvement with Ventus.

Bought a new Aldila Rogue Black hybrid shaft in 105 TX to put in a Callaway X Forged UT head a few weeks back.  Head is bent to 19* and paired with that shaft is a missile launcher.  Very, very smooth and long setup.

Extremely comfortable sole. Some people have been saying it feels like playing on an ice skate but I haven't had any issues with stability. They're my new favorite for sure.

Found a Titleist 818 H2 Hybrid with Tensei Pro White X Stiff Shaft for a good price and was above average condition.   Too good for me to pass up.  Will replace the 915H hybrid I have now that I felt that Aldila stiff shaft was a bit too loose for me and really had to time it right.  

Looking forward to playing it.

I have 4 pairs of XIs, including my '00 Space Jams. I've given Jordan/Nike a lot of my money, and my mom's money, since like '96 haha

Had an iron fitting at TXG today.  Ended up ordering Taylormade 790 irons with kbs $-taper lite shafts in black.  The shaft shocked me with the consistency of strike position even on poor swings.  Looking forward to getting them on the course and hitting more consistent iron shots.

SIM ti 3 wood head only is inbound. Picked it up for some shaft testing. Needed the changeable hosel. Nice excuse.....

Ordered the shorts from Loudmouth Golf. Each year my son and I dress alike for the father son and alternate years on who picks the theme. First year he picked and it was the Philadelphia Eagles, last year I picked and went NY Yankees. This year he wanted patriotic and well red white and blue shorts with the Declaration of Independence on them is about as close as we could get.
