High 34*; low 25*. No wind whatsoever. The forecast is sunny for the next week, but we have an inversion layer sitting on top of us.  Very common here in the winter.  It would be sunny if I drove an hour in just about any direction where the elevation is 500 feet higher.  The National Weather Service has issued an air stagnation advisory until next Tuesday for people with respiratory issues.

30* high temp in the greater Boise/Treasure Valley area today. Overcast fog/inversion makes it feel like a damn walk-in cooler. *****'s frost on everything. Winter is here, no golf for the wicked...

Another reason I hate winter/snow is because I previously worked for the highway dept and had to work 16-20 hour days trying to clear the roads. Glad I don't have to that anymore

This is the earliest we've gotten really snow in the DC area in recent memory. Expecting a whopping 4 inches to boot.

We were supposed to get snow today but it may skirt us. Currently about 29 and with the wind from the south at 12. According to weather channel 'feels like 17'. The wind direction Is hugely important for us living on Lake Erie because southerly wind generally brings warmer temps. More importantly the key ingredient for lake effect snow is wind blowing across the not yet frozen lake from the west or northwest. Anyway (outside) golf is done. :mellow:
