Cool videos!  Thanks for sharing... they look like they are having the time of their life out there!!  We should all watch this occasionally and remember that golf is supposed to be F-U-N...

Happy that I played 15 holes yesterday with only one ball. Wound up losing 2 after that but a better "ball" day overall for me anyhow...  It's been real BAD for me of late for some reason...I'm down to my last Snell MTB Black already...

Reached in my bag today at the practice facility thought i was grabbing a Pro V1. Had 4 balls down for some chipping practice. One felt different... much better, and reacted waaay better... like one hop a little skip and in the bucket better.

 

Got up to get it out of the hole and I picked up a Srixon Z Star that was a straggler from last year. Needless to say, those bad boys are going back into the rotation.

I'm happy that I got to fix a bunch of MY OWN :-) pitch marks today! Greens were soft from rain last night and this morning, but still managed to hit a few .. including playing two balls from the right rough 150 out and hitting the left side of the green (away from the bunkers) with both.

Booked a lesson with a pro over near Fort Worth, TX, next week. My fitter at Club Champion recommended this guy and said he doesn't teach a system. My coach in NOLA has moved-on to a new style of swing and I'm not really interested in a second swing change in three years. Hoping the guy in Texas can take what I've got and go with it. I'm sending him video this week to take a peak and have an idea of what I'm bringing with me.

His name is Jon Sinclair and he's at the Texas Star. Looking forward to it!!!

He also does fitting for the TPT shafts, so I plan on coming back later this summer to go through that.

I'm ready to get this swing solidified and no more changes. I'm stoked!

Hard to evaluate these kind of numbers. They really only measure distance on 2 holes and it doesn't take into consideration the weather conditions, if they hit the fairway, or what club is hit. It is simply a number.

I love it when they are at Kapalua and they've all hit 400 yard drives. Majorly downhill, and almost always wind at the back. Crazy.

Took the day off to play in a tournament my brother's fellow doctors put together for a good cause. He and I have participated in it for the past 7 years or so. Well he moved down to FL last year and this year was the first time he wasn't there with me. Why is this in the happy thread you may ask? Well, I always play a practice round prior to the tournament start; usually at the same course where the tournament is held just for convenience sake. My game hasn't been all there for a while, but during yesterday's morning round, all facets of the game were working! Driver was spot on, iron play pretty darn sharp, and putting/ distance control was better than it has been in a long time. So much so I carded my first sub 80's round in over 10 years (79) 😁. The actual tournament round though, back to the same broken game with some phenomenal shots and some headscratching play...BUT, during the awards ceremony, they told us we won our flight (nobody knew they even had flights setup (first time they did it)). We each received a $50 dicks sporting goods gift cards. It gets even better😁. I bid on a couple auction items and won one, a bottle of Corazon de Agave Tequila Anejo. Finally, they picked a door prize winner, guess who won 😁. I should of bought lottery tickets last night the way I was going😁😂🤣

About a month ago I somehow damaged the face (hinges bent) on my Odyssey 7 Oworks putter and contacted Callaway Customer Service. Well yesterday UPS delivered a new replacement putter and sent I back the damaged one. It took a month but worth the wait. I believe the month wait was due to LH putter inventory. Anyway painless process.
