I am hoping it isn't serious as the thought of losing my entire summer and golf season in which I have set some lofty goals for myself just makes me sad lol.

Acupuncture is my go-to when my shoulder gets cranky. Good luck with it.

Just did a Rypstick workout after three days off. Very very pleased with the results. Three 90s, an 88 and an 89 in my five swings, average 89. Up 10 mph from when I started Rypstick a month ago. Which is ~ 30 yards on drives, theoretically. Planning to play a round or two this week to test that. I'd thought about stopping at Pinehurst to play The Cradle again, but you don't hit driver at The Cradle if you're over about 10 years old, and maybe not even then. So I'll find something with a little more distance required.

Good afternoon spies!

Been a busy day so didn’t get a chance to pop on earlier. Started the morning with a hike in the mountains. 

Headed to some breweries in Asheville shortly for some beverages and food. It’s been a great weekend so far and sad it’s coming to an end soon.

We just finished up the rest of the yard work. My wife worked on the front flower bed, my SIL cleaned and washed the front porch, and I tackled the bed flower bed. I'm going to tell you, pulling weeds and briars ain't for the weak of heart. I'm a bit sore right now from all the bending over. I also finished up the weed eating. 

We all feel accomplished right now and are proud of what we've got done. We still need to buy weed block and mulch and lay that down.

It's way past morning here but it's always morning somewhere!  An interesting past couple of days:

--I know it's early to declare victory over my chipmunk pests but I haven't seen signs of them trying to re-inhabit the nests in about almost a week.  They do, however, still run across the patio even when I sitting outside.  Tonight at dinnertime, one of them stopped and looked in the window to what was on the menu.  The dog was pretty sure it should be chipmunk for her dinner and almost took out the door to the patio.  I think the chipmunk is still laughing.

--Got to play a nice 100+ year old course yesterday that was originally designed by Willie Park, Jr.  One of the perks of volunteering for my state golf association is we get to play some courses not otherwise readily accessible.

--Got my Tour B RXS Mindset balls today - thanks MGS and Bridgestone!

--And, although we are almost a month removed from tax day, I ran across this from Will Rogers and thought I would share it: "The income tax has made more liars out of the American people than golf has." (1924)

Glad to hear you got it all done. We, or dare I say I, only did the front yard today and only finished a little before you. Calling for rain tomorrow so should give me a day of rest before she puts me back to work in the back yard.

Morning all.

Nothing but good news.

• My customer messengered me to say that his craft package finally arrived. 
• The fence is finally clean and painting is underway.
• The new Fit For Golf app has finally made it to the Apple App Store. 

Hmmm. There seems to be a theme running through here—a bit of waiting and hoping before things are coming to fruition.

Just a bit of something for ya. Here’s old picture of our house. It used to be a village general store. It was built in 1850, and this image was probably taking around the turn of the century or so.

And here’s the house today.

Same tree.

No golf today. Just the usual Sunday.

Morning all, another lovely warm start to the day with temps of around 29 expected so nice and warm. Last duty day today then off for 4 so of course the weather is due to turn tomorrow with thunderstorms expected

Hoping to get some golf in over the next couple of days as playing for my club on Thursday in a competition so need some practice.

Good early morning!

Up early and just put the brisket on the smoker to celebrate mothers day.  Have the coffee brewing and sitting on the patio thinking about jumping in the hot tub while everyone sleeps.  Other than family time, not much is really planned.  

Hope everyone has a great day and gets to spend some time with the moms.

To all the mothers out there, Happy Mother's Day!!

MyGolfSpouse / mother of three wanted to golf this morning .. her idea! .. together with the two boys but it's pretty chilly and starting to drizzle, and threatening to get worse, so she cancelled golf. The kids will just come here and we'll go straight into the eating and drinking part (party ) of the day!!

We could always try indoor golf or bowling maybe, but we'll see how everyone feels when they get here...

Hope everyone is doing well and has a great day .. and hope all the mothers have a very wonderful day!!

To those who still celebrate that day/event, I hope that it is a truly enjoyable day for all the Mothers involved.

Quiet here, hoping to get to the course later this afternoon with SWMBO coming along to mostly spectate, and occasionally hit a shot or two.

@EasyPutter hoping that your day in the rain repairing the vehicle means all is corrected, and it will be ready to roll to VA.

Make your day the best it can be and hoping that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans. 

PS: Rain returns here again on Monday through Tuesday, so the April showers really appear to be about a month behind on Mother Nature's schedule.

Good morning MGSpies from a this guy who's thinking too much is packed into each day, or maybe it is just having a day sitting all day practically in once place for graduation events and then next day non stop physicality with a vehicle repair job and @rkj427 I will know soon enough if I need to take more work time off to do more as I am heading to session 2 of the HOPE program in Rush NY as soon as this is sent (didn't leave myself much time and the ride will be a welcome relaxation).  So some golf for me before heading to a Mother's day family event on my return and hope everyone has golf and Mother's Day as a part of your day!

Camp setup weekend here at Lakeside Pines in Bridgeton ME.  The forecast for the weekend wasn't great but it has been sunny but chilly nights (upper 50's day 30's at night). all in all a great weekend!

Happy Mother’s Day! (Today is also National Nutty Fudge Day, Odometer Day and Limerick Day).

The weather is much cooler today with the day starting in the 40s. Being gone last week had taken a toll on my lawn so I’ll be coming home from church, going to get gas and then spending the day mowing and trimming. Hopefully, there will be enough sunlight for me to hit some balls on the range. Spent yesterday with my grandson and his friends for his birthday  at Scene 75. It’s like an indoor arcade with go carts, bumper cars and an assortment of activities designed to significantly lighten your wallet. A lot like the golf shop, but without getting to take anything home except a plushy. 

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and week!

Got in an FFG workout last evening around 6 and my shoulder is telling me about it. Yeah, I know, I'm (redacted) years old and can't do what I could do 30 or 20 years ago, but it's still annoying. I'll keep doing what I can, because it's showing up on the Rypstick reports and on the bathroom scale.

@Josh Parker I think I could eat that whole brisket myself. True story: I call one of my cats Brisket. Why? Ten-ish years ago my son was living with me after he finished college while he was looking for a job. I cooked for us most of the time, and he was and is an extremely finicky eater, so I would check with him on options for dinner before I started cooking. One night I wasn't sure I had his full attention, so the last item on the verbal menu was "barbecued cat." He was paying attention and found that hilarious, so we started calling our new kitten "BBQ Cat". But that didn't seem quite right, so I thought about various types of barbecue, and settled on Brisket. A decade later, and she's still Brisket, along with her real name.

Lost the bid on my putter, which I expected, so I pivoted to bid on another DF 2.1 auction which I am currently winning. If I lose that, I still have a buy-it-now putter option.

Good morning everyone and Happy Mothers Day. Getting ready to make strawberry waffles for breakfast with bacon and eggs. Dinner will be filet mignon with bacon wrapped asparagus and twice baked potatoes. Nothing but the best for SWMBO. It's looking to be a beautiful day here, right now it's in the mid 50's with the high looking to be 75. I'm thankful it was like this yesterday as I spend a lot of time working in the yard. 

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there, I hope y'all pamper the wonderful ladies in your lives.
