Range time this morning to do some Mevo+ testing and then work on the backyard project.  Golf planned for this afternoon.  Busy day on the books and coffee is brewing to jumpstart it.

Morning all, 

I’ve resigned myself to the fact that “sleeping in” will be between 6-7 unless I don’t feel the greatest. Then that time will get pushed to between 7-8. Anyhow, coffee is being brewed and the pups are eating.  
 

Yesterday I thought I was going to have to tell the wife we needed to get a new dishwasher. I kept hearing this weird sound, mind you I didn’t have my hearing aids in. So I thought it was making a sound like it was struggling to perform. Nope, it was the guy in the photo pecking the bird seed cake my wife put in the widow feeder. 
 

Hope everyone has a great day. No golf for me today, have a concert later tonight. Going to see the band The Dead South. Canadian band and are really good.

Good morning Spies! Was a brutally busy week at the office this last week. Today we are up early as a family for a busy Saturday. We've got bowling matches, basketball games, and band activities today. For me I have a Rotary meeting to get to this morning. I've only been able to get a few light swings in this week, and just about have my putting mat worn out. Wishing each of you a fantastic Saturday!

I'm just now starting to read over the forum and drink my coffee. The dogs were needy this morning and needed some love before allowing me to drink coffee or look at my phone. 

@Wheelieb I'm right with you on sleeping in, I woke up around 6 and laid in bed till 6:45 trying to go back to sleep. I'm glad you found out what was causing you to think the dishwasher was bad and that you don't have to replace it. 

There's not much on the early agenda for today, v but this evening is going to get busy. My wife wants to run to town later to pick up some things we can't get grocery shopping.

Good morning crew! Early one on the West coast for me... baby decided to yell at 3 am, so the coffee was brewed and here we are, Up and At 'Em!

A pretty good week, After being laid off in October I signed an offer letter to get my butt back to work starting 2/26. Extremely excited as I transition from a large global company to a much smaller company with a massive runway for success.

To top that off, an exciting week ahead. My big brother passed 3 years ago from Pancreatic Cancer and this Tues would have been his 40th Bday. So I have a trip planned to go get a half sleeve tattoo that he picked out, while he was in treatment, to honor his memory.

Good early morning all from a chilly and windy Wisconsin. Oldest woke up at 5:30 and youngest followed shortly after. It never fails to amaze me that our oldest is always “so tired” in the mornings on weekdays and we have to practically drag him out of bed at 7, but then he’s up before the break of dawn on the weekends

Nothing planned for the day to my knowledge so we will see where it takes us!

Good morning and happy Saturday spies. Supervisor informed me as I was leaving yesterday that I did not need to work today. Kind of weird to wake up with no real plans on the day. It’s only 9° outside so I think that I’ll stay indoors. Putting mat and Genesis Invitational, here I come.

Good morning Spies on a cold and snowy Saturday here in Michigan.

Currently in the teens, with high for today the mid 20's so today looks to be a stay indoors and finish some real-world compute work while catching the golf later.

@berkeleybob perhaps you and your neighbor can come to an agreement?  If Christmas was every day, then your gift would be the coming of warmer, springtime weather. 

@No3PuttLaLa sounds like a nice way to pay tribute to your brother, and you should post a picture once it is completed. 

Supposedly going to be warmer tomorrow so that currently looks like the day I will head to the range to hopefully see that my swing is still somewhat intact, and not too far off from mid-season form.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, no matter what may be in your plans or on your agenda, and that something enjoyable is involved as well.

Good morning.  A little snow overnight but its the best kind...grass only snow.  No shoveling necessary since it didnt accumulate on the pavement.  The trees look nice.  It wont last since we are hitting 40+ this afternoon.

4"+ of fresh snow on the ground, and not getting out of the 20°s today. It looks like it will be around for a few days at least. I was planning to go to my range today for their "all major brands" demo day. I hope they have those heaters cranked. I'm hoping that the temperatures keep the crowd size down to a minimum. Last year it was packed (and warmer). I didn't really mind, because I wasn't in the market for anything, but this year I am.

Top of the pot spies .  Hope everyone's start to the weekend is going well.  We've been looking for a new dining room light fixture over the past couple of months and not really seeing the style we want.  My wife kept saying "they just don't make those anymore".  So we started looking at Craigslist and found one we liked... at about 1/10th the cost of what we'd been considering.  So, after my round this morning, it's over to Lowes for a new dimmer switch, LED bulbs, and then taking down the fan/light and installing this old school/outdated light fixture.

Good Saturday morning, my fellow spies…This will be a toil and trouble Saturday for yours truly. The Hoarder on High has decided we need to deplete the inventories of a few businesses in the general area. The wind is a blowing and the rain is engaging in hit and run tactics; so NO chance for golf today. 
  Still NO major issues with new Rx’s. Hope what issues there are will continue to lessen. 
  May this weekend be full of fun and positive memories for you and yours.

..and is still coming down. At least it's relatively light (so far?) and Mr. Sun should re-appear tomorrow!

@sirchunksalot - aren't our dogs needy like *every* morning (hey hey human hey feed me feed me pet me let me out let me in any more food no ok pet me again )? 

@Josh Parker - love the plans for the upgraded backyard fun zone, but.. if everyone is splashing around in the hot swim tub tank plaything all at the same time, then who's serving the adults their tasty frozen adult beverages..?

@No3PuttLaLa - so sorry to hear about your brother but nice you're doing something fun in his memory And best of luck in your new gig!!

Good morning everyone. Up early in Iowa City today for another wheelchair basketball tournament. The kid loves watching TV in the hotel so this leaves me the guilt free freedom to check out local breweries. This time it was Big Grove. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys hoppy beers. Last tournament is in two weeks in Milwaukee and then road trips are done. Well, except for the golf road trips, lol. Hope everyone has a great day ahead.

Oh, forgot one thing about yesterday. Went to the golf shop to get last years paradym and the that was gonna run me 268 after trading in my rogue st driver. Not bad, and was definitely ok with it since I knew that the head and shaft were what I needed to start down my rabbit hole of testing for a different thread. Then he threw me for a loop. He said since I was military, callaway also does 15% off for military. So if I paid an extra 79 dollars I could own a brand new paradym AI Smoke. Seeing as how I hadn’t hit the driver I decided why not see what it does. First 5 shots all right, switched to the draw setting and now left. This tells me I’m going to have to work on the slider weight if I’m going to get this in the fairway. Needless to say, I have a new new driver. And I can’t get out to play today cause we have to go get Brabanter chickens. It’s fine, I still have Sunday and Monday to attempt to get out on the course or at least the range. Also, definitely going to be getting those Mizuno 245’s. Just so crisp and fall into the window of distance I like

It's officially my sister's wedding day. Small ceremony planned for this afternoon with family and friends. Should be a great day overall.

Good morning MGS Troops! Hope all is well. Not much going on today except a two hour sim session and a jousting show with the family. Currently in Cheyenne it’s a balmy 5 degrees. Coffee (Irish style) with los poopies was a double. Its cold! Hopefully the snow won’t stay all week. Happy Birdie Hunting!

Morning all! We’re headed to a “welcome to parenthood” class my wife wanted us to go through before the baby arrives so no golf for me today. Hopefully I’ll be back early this afternoon and catch most of the leaders round at Riviera. Bummed to see TW WD again but he wasn’t going to make the cut anyway with how he was playing, fingers crossed that was because of the illness. He still doesn’t look healthy enough to walk 4 rounds to me but if he says he can I’ll believe him (when he finally does it lol). Have a great Saturday!

Otherwise, another grey morning outside and it looks like another bout of rain is in the forecast for us here in LA. So that means spending the majority of my day out practicing before the weather robs me of it! Thankfully, there is always the Sim to head in to. Going to peel myself outside of bed, start the coffee and take Mr. Pickles for his morning walk!

Planning to surprise the Fiance later tonight and take her out for dinner. She has been under the weather for most of the week and is finally feeling up to par.

Good morning spies! Looks to be a beautiful day here in Mesa! The afternoon will probably be spent working on my short game. Changed it up a little yesterday with some very positive results. Tomorrow is the PXG challenge day in Mesa proper. Thirty minute fitting to see if they can tune in one of their new Black Ops drivers to out do your driver. If they cannot show appreciable results they give you a hundred dollar MasterCard gift card. Their drivers for this little show are 200 dollars off the regular price. The intriguing part is the challenge. My old Sim2 has won every one of these in the last 3 years. I hit it (relatively) better and straighter than any of the new drivers fitters have put in my hands.  I just want to see if I can take their money  Yeah I know they will tilt this to their advantage, but I also know I can walk out the door with my old driver and still hit it on every par 4 I face and be on the green in two with nothing bigger than a 7 iron. This is really just for fun!

They are, especially since they know I am the mighty giver of treats. Work mornings are usually pretty calm, I guess since my wife stays up late, they aren't completely starved for attention. On weekends, they go crazy wanting out and wanting their treats for being good girls and protecting the house from heffalumps and woozles.
