Good morning ..... and I certainly hope it will be a good one for you all.

I got to play yesterday, 18 holes at Brasstown, and turned in a 92 from the white tees.  A little disappointing, as I shot a 91 from the teal tees last time I was out there.  The frustrating thing was I was three full shots more on the back nine, which is a good bit easier than the front.

But then ..... I ran into this on the back nine, so I'll use this as an excuse.  I kind of wish I had known this was going on when I booked the tee time - it was scheduled with the forestry department so they knew it was coming.  This is on the 13th, while standing at the tee box.

Looks like everyone’s staying busy in this thread! Warming up and thinking about getting an early start to the day walking the dogs, working out, then throwing the clubs in the trunk for some early chipping and putting at one of the munis.

Last night was the first game of the year for our MLS team STL City SC. We looked a little rusty but came away with the 2-1 victory over Houston in our first round of the CONCAF CHAMPIONS CUP! I have to say the new guys we signed in the offseason looked great, looking forward to building off of the historic inaugural season.

I got the W in the tournament last week fantasy PGA league I organized for my golfing guys. Interesting field at the Mexico Open, hard not to bet on Finau on this one. Wishing a happy Wednesday to all!

Now this is something I would have hoped to discount a round or atleast give you a little heads up. But think of it this way... Wont see that everyday in your round of golf haha

Got some great news today before work when I went to visit my little boy in the NICU. He is set to come home today after he gets a little snip and cleaned up. He has been in the NICU for 3.5wks at this point so feeling pretty accustomed to taking care of him and doing the parent thing but to walk in this morning and hear he can go home was a BIG shock!! I dont get overwhelmed easy but this dude knows how to do it haha

Other then that lets get over this hump and concqur this day! Dont forget to add coffee to make that easier haha

Good morning everyone and happy hump day. @GolfSpy_APH good luck wi the the move. I know I have at least one more somewhere in my future but I hope it’s still a long ways off. Absolutely hate moving. @Josh Parker, congrats on the hot tub being ready to go. I’ve tried to convince SWMBO that we should install one as well for the last 8 years but so far, no dice. I also remember morning around here being a lot slower. I was usually the 5th or 6th post by the time I got on but now there’s usually a full page posted. It definitely is great to see so many active people around. Keeps my email full of notifications and who doesn’t love a full email inbox, . Hope everyone has a great day ahead!

Good morning MGSpies from basement central on a clear sky not frozen WNY Wednesday with milder weather in for today high of 50s then dropping daily by 10 degrees to the next freezing days  no commute workday already rocking the network solving issues with the major payroll system upgrade  had a great lap counter around the  day yesterday including the tallest lemon meringue pie I have ever seen, as tall as it was wide, something new for a celebratory "cake"  keeping tabs on everyone and the excitement and drama shared, thanks so much for including us all in your current events on this community call eve  hope golf is a part of your day

Going to be a Great Day for Golf, if things work out I'll be on the course today. Going to be in the mid to upper 50's. Hope everyone is able to get some kind of golf in today.

First cup of Joe going down smooth and waiting on the bacon and eggs to finish cooking.   with some sour dough toast.

Going to pick up my daughter tomorrow at the airport, she is finally coming home after her internship with Disney, can't wait to see her!!

As of this morning I now have three teenagers in my house. Our youngest turns 13 today and we are celebrating with a morning in Magic Kingdom and an afternoon at Hollywood Studios. Should be a fun day with hopefully on minor tantrums.

No work today, as happens sometimes on my road trips, but it's a "travel" day that just happens to contain a slight detour down US 15-501 to Pinehurst, where I have a morning tee time at the Cradle. Early enough that I need to get off the computer, pack and go! Details later, and I may write a course review tonight.

Morning All,

I got up this morning and got to work fine. traffic is a bear getting on base and will continue for a while. That's neither her nor there as that's not a huge issue. What I found in my email when I got in was a code that I used to register for a free golf lesson program through PGA Hope. I'm excited about this since it is holding me accountable to do what I have to in order to hit my goal of breaking 90 consistently this year. That starts on the 2nd of March and is for 6 Saturdays in a row. I'm more than ok not going and playing when I'm getting lessons on those days. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning MGS Troops! Hope the day starts off well and continues to be good! I get the privilege of attending our governor’s prayer breakfast, but without the spousal unit. She’s still sick. I do have a date though, a fellow MGS Troop, @Derek Eskam. My wife and I attend this function every year and this is the first year she’s not able to attend. I’m sure Derek will be a great date though. I may try to get to the sim this afternoon, time will tell. I hope you all have a wonderful morning and, as always, Happy Birdie Hunting!

Good Wednesday morning fellow Spies,

Going to be another unseasonably, warm and beautiful day with a high in the low 80's. Won't be able to get a round in but definitely will carve out some time for a good range session. Need to get some of the kinks out and give the new hybrid a good workout. I would also like to verify, as predicted yesterday, I have been placed on indefinite "timeout" from the PGASS... I tried to convince her that it was her fault for leaving me unsupervised, but she isn't having any of it,,,

Good luck on the move. Having just done the same thing a year ago I know what you are going through. At least you can bring car loads little by little. That helps a lot. My move was 350 miles, so it was one massive move. Got the biggest truck I could rent, a car hauler and 5 cars loaded to the max. Everything got staged in the garage once we got to our new home then brought in the house once the furniture was in place. Took about two months to get all settled in.

Good morning and Happy Hump Day!!

Just another day in paradise. Well, someone else's anyway.  Another cool, but sunny morning here in the Central TN Plateau. Rain coming tomorrow, which is a bummer. But warmer temps are coming too, which is nice.

I booked a PXG fitting for the first Friday of May, right before my b-day. It'll be interesting since it's not at a regular PXG store since the closest one is about 3.5 hours away. But the fitter told me he has all the shafts and heads that they would in the store, plus I believe the Fairways and Greens facility in Knoxville looks like it might be an outdoor fitting or at least off a mat into the outdoors so we can watch the flight. It's a pretty cool looking facility with a bunch of hitting bays, an exercise room, some greens and bunkers all in a somewhat compact area in West Knoxville. Wish it was closer as that would be a great place to work on the game.

Morning fellows!

Played 9 again yesterday and did see a few small signs of it's not all total hopelessness for me .. didn't lose as many golf balls as the previous day .. I sucked a little less vs the previous day .. and the old body has withstood the two days in a row without too much aching and complaining! 

After dinner last night we stopped in this very cool looking bar...

.. they literally must have every whisky, rye, bourbon, scotch and it looked like every or almost every vodka, gin and tequila! 

But of course my wife had a glass of red wine (Argenio non confunditore toscano rosso) and I had their IPA.

Well off for a nice trail hike...

Glad you got movers. I was stupid. My 65-year-old body got convinced by my 35-year-old mind that I could do it myself with my family and two of my son's friends. Took me a month to recuperate.

See in 35 thinking like a 65 year old... Actually it's more with kids/dogs and everything we have and work I just don't have the mental or physical strength to do it all myself.

Looks like more seasonal February weather for Victoria today, boy oh boy we have had a good run for golf weather in this area in February, I bet I have been out 12 times this month already and played on relatively dry fairways and fantastic greens, it has been a real treat. 

Today not so much but I have all the tools for a wet weather round so it should be alright.

I am getting a bit of cabin fever though, we have relatives in Henderson Nevada so we are threatening a visit which would be nice to get away to some warmer climates and just get away.

Morning Spies! Happy  Day!

Yesterday my internet router decided to deny me access to all things data. So, I replaced it. Back online now but have some more networking updates to do later in the week (rewire Cat 6 jacks, etc.). Can’t believe the ones there didn’t last more than 25 years…. lol 

Going to be nice again today here. Probably hit some on the mat between conference calls and deliverables. Golf Galaxy sent out a mailer that, if you take it to Dick’s or Golf Galaxy, they will give you a 4 ball pack of TP5 or TP5x to try for free. Not bad.

Today is National Grain Free Day and National Sticky Bun Day….. somehow me thinks they cancel each other out. Either way, I’ll be searching out a sticky bun to consume with a cup of coffee later for sure.

It’s downhill from here to the weekend! Only 4 more Mondays until SPRING!

The busy work week continues and I'm very much looking forward to the weekend to come. Weather has been fairly nice this week at least, temps today supposed to reach almost 60.

Hoping to sneak in a simulator session or two this week, but we'll have to see what availability looks like. 

Onto my second cup of coffee and catching up on some other threads in the Forum.
