WITB.... spreadsheet edition?

I know I have some major holes in my golf bag, those are going to be sorted out this off season hopefully! 

Does anyone else geek out the way I do with this kind of stuff?

Nice spreadsheet!

My bag changes too often to put that effort into it. 

I usually just post a slew of photos instead. However I definitely see the benefit of what you are doing!

Nice work @Benjaminjoly  I do a very similar spreadsheet with my clubs as well.

While I don't have an immediate need for something like this, as my bag is not a newer set, or have any modifications to clubs, I can definitely see myself using something similar down the road.

I have a simple chart layout to track my yardages, so when I hit the range that has a top tracer I can adjust it. Whenever I add or swap a club, or as my game changes,  I will go there and redo it. It uses a 7 shot avg.

This is a nice set-up.  I don't keep anything like this but could see the benefit.  

I do keep my fitting specs in a file folder on the computer and have started to log my stats into a spreadsheet from my rounds.

I have a PowerPoint slide set that I put together and update when things change.  It was created on the work computer to help keep me actively aware so when an employee or supervisor sent something that needed my attention I was ready to jump on task with minimal delay.  Active minds need such diversion or the brain tends to go on vacation far away...

I never had all the clubs on a single spreadsheet like this and just found the OEM online info, snipped and pasted in something that would be ideal for presentation to the ultimate supervisor and I know @Shapotomous and @Dead Solid Bogey know exactly to whom that refers, who shall not be named as that alone evokes a powerful magic.  Wait who just typed all that, I have no idea how that sentence got there

This is nice.   Love it.   Will do over the long weekend coming up.   Might even commit to a "watch list" tab on the spread sheet.

 

I couldn't help but notice....  110g driver shaft (!!!!) wow--sledgehammer style.

Thanks, but she isnt into spreadsheets so it would not help any more rhan the power point slides.  If you had it in a tik tok or you tube short video or instagram then it might get her attention!

As an IT professional who keeps so many things in spreadsheets, this makes my heart happy.

I have a golf club spreadsheet as well, although I'd love a copy of yours. Here's just a small sampling of what's in mine (and I have just about every major OEM and DTC in my spreadsheet for irons I'd consider or that might work for me):

Don't ask me why I did this, but I started out just looking at a few irons to compare to my current 101's as I started considering new irons. It just ballooned from there.

After further review, and double checking the actual spec for that shaft, I put the incorrect value in that cell. The weight of this shaft is supposed to say 67g! Thank you for noticing

I just write down the why and the cost and attach them to the white flag, I ultimately end up waving.

What a great idea @Benjaminjoly I've not done a spreadsheet.  I have so many notes on clubs. Thanks for sharing!
