I'm comfortable going with instinct and feel with my .370 graphite shafts,
but ceding to the prevalent trends, went to the launch monitor/simulator for my .335 shafts.

Needless to say, the fitter and his equipment put me with shafts that cost as much as some sets that I've owned in the past.

For better or worse,
I bit,
so we'll see if the simulator results come true on the course come April.
My answer to the question, then, is Fujikura Ventus Red 6 shafts.
Ludicrously expensive and highly effective on the monitor.

I'm keeping an open mind.

I have played pretty much nothing but Graphite Design for the last decade. Pricey, but they work for me. Just put the new VR in my driver and a TP in my 3 wood. Good shafts will last for more than one driver/fairway wood.

While out wandering the country side this weekend I hit a couple 2nd hand stores, a Goodwill, and Play It Again Sports.  Found a matching Alpha brand driver and 3 wood in really good shape.  I play a different model 3w and 5w of Alphas and really love them.  I will try the driver out to see if I like it, but will most likely sell them and make a few bucks to feed my habit.  I only paid $7 each for them.

At Play It Again Sports I bought an Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 driver with a stiff shafted Adila Voodoo for $25.    Really just wanted the shaft but will hit it as set up to see if I like the head or the shaft or the club as is.  The ferrule had slipped up so I pulled the shaft last night to put on a new ferrule and to see if it had been tipped or not.  Tip looked un-cut.  Problem was is that I didn’t have a collared ferrule to fit in my stock so I need to order one.  There was absolutely no way that ferrule was going to stay as it had zero glue and no sanding underneath it.

The more brands and models I play with and repair, the more I see how many mfgs really put together crap

Bought some random stuff so far this year.  Picked up this ball marker that I thought was funny.

Also bought a couple Peter Millar Featherweight polos that are the perfect summer weight and have been my go to golf shirt.  Lastly, I am planning on picking up a Vokey SM8 wedge 54* D grind in the brushed steel finish.

i posted these in a KBS Thread I started.  But they belong here just as well. A combo I have been working on putting together for a while,  had to buy the irons first then send them out to KBS for the shafts.

They look great!!!

I'm looking forward to hearing how you like playing them.

I can't wait for mine to come. I ordered them with the stock Tensei Red 5-GW and then two custom SM7 Vokeys. I got the 52F and 58M both with the AMT Black shafts in R300. I'm taking a flyer on the shafts. I hit the Tensei's well in the store, so I'm not worried about them. The wedges shafts are a shot in the dark though. If they don't work out, I'll put Recoils in.

Do you remember how long it took to get your irons from date of order until arrival?

Pretty quick.  Maybe a 2 day build.  Then 4-5 days shipping.  So definitely less than 2 weeks.  Then sent out for the shaft install.

Here's a couple more pics taken outside today ....just because 😎

Wow, they look great!!! I love the Black wedges also.

I had them in the cart, then chickened out and went with chrome. Seeing them in your bag though, I'm having second thoughts.... lol.

Yeah. They have held up well for 2 years.  I'll be going with the SM8 in April.  Probably will do the black again.

You're right about the feel. I was torn on weight, between these and the TGI 70.  I hit them with good disperon at the demo.  So I'm hoping they work without costing me too much clubspeed. I was in the Alta 55 in my PING G700.  But the fitter said they were too light for me.

No club purchases yet this year.

But anxious to get this on the course and see all the new features.

Didn't you have the Z80 rangefinder? Just looking for something different?
