WTH... Hatton made it through to the next round but he doesn't have a green dot next to his name?? I guess I could play Kirk instead but I'd rather have Hatton all things considered. 

 

Undershooter, I was wondering why he didn't have the green dot as well. Looks like that's fixed, and he's in the field. Not that I want you to field the stronger team, but in the interest of good sportsmanship

haha thanks man. I noticed this morning as well. I've been on fantrax all day trying to figure out how we're going to be able to do such a large football league. A 30 team league is a bit of a nightmare.

With the fantasy football stuff going on, my attention has been away from this league. Just checked in to see how the semis are going and HOLY SMOKES you guys are blowing the doors off this place. Two superb matchups going on with everyone showing why they are where they are. Great showing! I'll be watching with anticipation.

When the week began and Berger withdrew with injury, I figured I was done. So far, my three guys are all turning in strong performances. Odds remain that the numbers are going to catch up with me and I'll end up not being able to rack up enough points 3 vs. 4, but I'm mounting a spirited fight thus far.

So do we think they will play today? I really hope they don't as I am leading. I know cheap win if they don't play but I would take it.

Shocking turn of events this morning, as Paul Casey withdraws. It's now totally either of our match.

This may come down to Rory and Xander. Both are stuck in neutral right now.  

 

 

Edit: Just realized that all of Casey's points are reset to zero now that he withdrew. That hurts big time. If this would've happened prior to the event starting, at least I could've played Kirk. Nice to see my luck hasn't changed much this season lol

Man, heck of a semi finals guys. Talk about bringing your best game forward when it matters most. Both matchups really were close until the final day.

 

 

If you would've made me gamble early on, I would've picked jahren to make it to the finals because his team was just so solid. Undershooter has been preaching all year that his team was built for the big events and that's certainly turning out to be true. I expect this to be one heck of a finals. Whoa momma. Poor jahren with only one player. This is gonna be a boat race unless Fleetwood goes out and wins the event.

 

I feared this might be an issue when I set up the playoffs. Am open to ideas for next year.

Yeah, this is very difficult to solve. The odds that the top two teams in a 16 team league will have, between them, more than four guys in the top 30 is quite small.

 

That said, if we get to the final and one guy does have three top-30 players, he's earned his win. It might be an anticlimactic finish (like, ahem, starting the final tournament with a ten-stroke lead), but it's an earned win.

I do like to think I've got a good team this year but I don't think this format is quite right. And that's not on you Stud, fantasy golf is hard when you play heads up season long.

I felt bad this week my 3 vs 1 and last week my 5 vs his 2 or 3.

 

I think we need to cut it a bit short like football does before the actual playoffs. Or only use the first couple weeks of them maybe? Hell i only like using week 17 in ffb when its a 2 week matchup.

I'd like to follow that up with adding that Studque has done an excellent job commissioning this league. Golf is hard as hell to run and I wouldn't have the first clue how to do it.
