Where should I send my putter to be refinished?

Recommended Posts

I have a really old Scotty Cameron that I want to get refurbished/re-finished. Where is the best place to get that done? Have any of you spies had any negative experiences with any of the re-finishing places?

Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

I sent these off one at a time to LabWorx. Very happy with them. Had the shafts done.  Sent them the grip I wanted them to use.

Ive also sent an old Scotty Studio Design back to Cameron’s shop and they of course did an awesome job, but it was pricey, and it too a good long while.

LabWorx had a lot of flexibility in what they’d do. I’d go there again.

If you want to maintain the value and do a restoration, the official Scotty Cameron custom shop is 100% the best option.

If you want to have it refinished and customized then there are some great options:

The Golf Garage and Labworx would be at the top of my list

And iirc scotty cameron shop won’t do any work on a putter that was not refinished or customized by them, so any future repair work or such they won’t do without doing a restoral to the original putter design

I had a junked out Scotty Classic 1, that had been given to me, sent back to Cameron Custom shop and they did a fabulous job on it and also included a COA and a custom shop headcover.  It wasn't cheap but affordable but took 3-4 months.  My thought on using them to refinish it was for resale value since I'll probably sell it at some point.  Honestly I got it back and haven't used it, just have it sitting in the box which is a waste.
