In my opinion, this is a hidden gem that I had never heard of until we started talking about playing there. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. Driver was not great most of the day - I think I was getting too steep and there were too many flares. Approach was its typical level of OK-ness with some really good shots and some tragic. I ended up with an 87 (my course HC from the tees we played was a 12). I want to play the course again - now that we've seen it and have a better idea of the visual tricks, I think we could do better, or at least would be able to pick better targets.

I ended up with a very solid 80. Had 3 birdies, were those the only ones? It really helped offset the 3 putts and a couple bad holes on the back 9. I love playing on a hilly course, but the more I've thought about it, I'm not wild about the layout, but I would play it again and I had a great time with the guys.

Hulencourt GC - Belgium | Holes 10-18

Played a quick solo 9 to bring up the rear of our HS golf match today. Had a better round than the most recent, scoring net +1 for 9. Had a good day for me with driving and approach per SG. Horrible putting day...a recent reoccurring theme.

Course was really wet, everything was plugging in fairway or rough. Happy with my long drive as it was all carry.

Must be my 4th round so far  !st round was just getting back to the swing  after 6 months of not touching a golf club 

My driver came back the easiest by my 2nd round   My full irons are still inconsistent   chipping and putt coming back

My putting was dreadful the first three rounds. Last round I finally got my confidence back in putting.  Dont need to take practice strokes for long putts   Did I lot of putting and chipping practice to achieve this .

My full wedge and irons is still work in process , I been shutting the face and using a strong left hand grip to set up for my irons  and learning to swing more down and out  for my draw/hook as my standard iron shot

From yesterday’s shootout , I had one double on a short par 4 …. Yikes , out of bounds on the left and that’s where it hooked into . I still pulled 35 points though , still refining my irons with the new swing!

Shot 42 this morning, nothing really bad but I missed 2 birdie putts. Still driving really well and hitting my irons more solid I feel like I'm compressing the ball a lot better. My short game is getting better with every round. Play well everyone.

Just played Bay Point in Panama City, FL. My buddy and I were paired with 2 kids (20's) from Louisiana. I haven't played in quite a long time and my simulator is full of furniture during our renovation. I kept score but didn't bother adding it up. Had no expectations and ended up with a great time!

Another solid night in the simulator tonight. After I got my kids down for bed I was able to sneak over to the sim for some late night work. I played Camiral Golf Tour Course playing at 6411yds and shot a -2 (70). Granted, the gimme circle was 6 feet.. ( I hate putting on the simulator). I was played with different shaft in my driver tonight and it was a miracle worker for me. My buddy let me borrow his Motorre X F3 shaft and it felt so dang good! It felt good to have a confidence on the tee box and let the big dog eat!

Sometimes those are the best rounds.  I enjoy when I can play a new course, and just enjoy the company. That course is about 1.5 hours from me and heard good reviews about it.  We're you there through the thunder beach MC rally or after?

Are you me?  Shot a 46 in league... with TWENTY FOUR PUTTS.  So so many tap in third putts lol.  Just glad the rest of my game held together.

Kind of a rough night in league last night. Way too many push/fades with the driver. The last two driving holes were really good, but I really have no idea what I did different from the prior 5 drives. My best guess is I was having an alignment/ball placement issue, but I don't really know. Short game was also not stellar, so I ended up with a 44 (+4 over my handicap). It was a fun night, I wasn't doing yard work, and it only rained on us a little bit. Just remember: the worst day of golf is better than the best day of almost anything else we could be doing!

Will definitely try to get a couple of portrait photos next time! I mentioned in my post the handle was @hesperiagcc but I will end up there again at some point I'm sure since it was a nice course digging the photos from everybody!

Got out to play 9 yesterday in the Staff league at UGA. My drive rolled out to 300 on the first hole (we started on 10) which set unrealistic expectations for the rest of the day . IG - @ugagolfcourse

Got the chance to golf at Blythefield Country Club as part of the LPGA kickoff media day. Unfortunately some storms rolled through and only got through 6 holes. I was playing pretty well - one par and two bogies thanks to some good sub-100 yard chips and three long putts (last one was a 20-footer). I was getting under my driver and hitting high flyers that were short and right, so had to punch out or lay up for extra strokes. I didn't bother getting a rain check since it was a free round anyway, but I hope I get to play the whole course sometime (and will be there next month to watch the Meijer LPGA match for sure).

Was able to get out this morning and play my "home course" from my high school golf days. My 2 best ever rounds were at this course, until today. Obviously it helps I've been playing here for 30 years and know all the breaks, good spots, etc. However, we've had alot of rain in Louisville and it was soggy, and a cart path only day.

Anyways, I had all cylinders firing, was switching between a left dash ProV1x and Tour B RX, and officially fired of a -3 68, my lowest ever round, and first ever time in the 60's!!!!!!!! I'm 40, been playing since I was a kid and could never break 70. When I say the shot scope has helped I'm not joking. Being able to track my data the last year has been a real game changer! That being said, I'm sure next time I play I'll probably shoot a 90 or some s*** lol! That's it for now, y'all have a great day. I'm gonna bask in my glory haha!

I didn't get a chance to play but I did practice quite a bit.

They aerated the practice green but it was still rolling pretty well. 
My new Axis1 with the reverse taper grip is absolute ... 
Once I figured out how to just let the putter swing and stop trying to move the face around the light bulb really turned on. Feeling pretty confident with it but haven't got a full round under the belt yet.

You walk past the 18th on the way to the range and really loved the way the clouds looked in the background.

Played The Misquamicut Club today. Well... drove an hour, did some putts and some chips in their HUGE practice area in the fog, then then made it through a couple holes in the rain before they blew the horn. Round postponed to later in the year.  *sigh* Love this course.

Played 9 over a longer lunch break today due to a change in the usual schedule routine and shot my lowest score of the year to date and tied my second best 9 hole career score at 41. Bookended it with doubles on 1 & 9 with a three putt on a tricky green on 9, but otherwise carded 1 birdie, 4 pars, 2 bogeys and the 2 doubles.

I was able to one putt three holes, all three of which were from 20+ feet. Stroke of luck today? Most likely. But I ended up with 18 putts. Not too bad considering 2 three putts mixed in. 

First round with the DARKSPEED X driver as well, and performance was good. Only able to use it on 4 holes, but had one really good drive that missed the fairway right by 5 yards, another so-so toe-y miss that still ended up 244 yards in the middle of the fairway, and then a couple where I just did not put a good swing on it.

Iron striking was really solid and wedges were also very solid. Overall was just a really fun round!
