Yes and no... Sorry no help here. 

 

I am a member of 3 courses that share the same ownership. I ponied up for the "double eagle" membership where I can access all clubs (still not that expensive).

2 courses are private and you can only play them if your with a member and 1 is sorta public. You don't have to be a member or with one to play that one. 

 

Edit: Guess I forgot the amenities part. Public course is just golf. Nicest of the 3 is a private course which just has golf. Other course is a short executive course with tennis courts and a pool although I don't use either of those things.

Nope but I wouldn't be opposed to joining one if I lived closer to them. there are a few I've played here in Columbus that are nice and have great practice areas which I would love.

I was for the past year but am currently a free agent. The advantages were a great Fazio course, ridiculous pace of play, very good practice facilities, wonderful staff, great place to entertain congregants or visiting friends. Disadvantages were the group's were not at convenient times for my schedule, the course conditions did not often correspond to the cost, my family didn't use the non golf amenities, I couldn't justify playing other courses and the value wasn't great.

 

I would join a club again if the circumstances were right. I have one in mind as a matter of fact. But for now I'm content to play the field.

Same here.  Joined last fall for this year.  It has decent practice facilities, and the people are really nice... now that they know me by name!!

My family did growing up. I'm a student now though, so no membership to a golf course. I do have a membership to a driving range though which gives me unlimited hitting during their less busy hours.

What Big Stu said........my club is open to the public and is currently limiting golf memberships to 125. They host a sh&tload of tournaments plus I run the Saturday game which usually averages about 40 golfers.

What's the normal pace of play Foz? It's been fine the 2 times I've played there but once was summer and the other a rainy day.
