I forgot…  If I keep playing this way, I’ll need to re-do my bag and include a blanket and a keg of non-alcoholic umbrella type drinks. I seemed to have an abundance of golf balls allergic to landing on the fairways and/ or greens..

I feel ya @berkeleybob !!! 10 years ago a large pizza wasn't safe around me. Now I'm lucky if it I finish 2 slices!

Good morning everyone!

We've got the halfway point of the work week and I'm hoping the last half goes by faster that the first. I think this week has taken about 12 days so far, I think it might have something to do with DST. 

Today is delivery day for the new fridge and wouldn't you know it, the old one came back on. We've been using it as an ice box, so my lunch and drinks were in there and am I was getting them out I heard some beeping. I looked and the control panel was on. I guess it's like clubs, when you order new ones the old ones start striping the ball. 

I hope today is a wonderful day for all of you.

WELL, Well, well…. She who would rule all seemed more intent on discussing the recent loss of the male spousal units of some of monarchs of the wife person’s coven than critiquing /criticizing my failure to complete the TO DO list.
   The realm’s ruler wants us to spend some unique quality time together..soon.
TRANSLATION : Unique = Girl type things   
                              Quality = Expensive 

Next the ruler of my heart and life wanted to discuss our ( meaning my ) health issues and the need for a healthy living /eating plan… That is why I am at the gym ( we have a membership, WHO knew ??? ) at this hour… The Princess of personal training wants me to spend at least one hour a day on the treadmill.. 

As far as food/diet is concerned, it has taken me to long to get back to adult food to give it up now.. Will head to my favorite Mexican restaurant for a wonderful breakfast  then amble of to the golf course for the day before the wife person’s new health regimen “ Kills Me “

 May we all not only survive but exceed and excel past any mid-week stumbling blocks to enjoying life… Golf is a wonderful Rx for that.

Have guests coming later this week and next so it’ll cause some changes in my schedule , but nothing that can’t be dealt with . Supposed to be in the low 70's with sunshine so looking forward to seeing how much I can get done in a timely manner at work, so I may potentially get out a little earlier to enjoy it.

Yesterday was a success all the way around. Kids had a blast at the dinosaur park and a good lunch with the inlaws. Had a great round yesterday afternoon as well. 

Plan on playing this morning and taking my son with me. He hasn't shown much interest lately but know he enjoys riding around on the course.

Good morning spies! It may only be Wednesday but today is my Friday. Leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow morning for a soccer tournament for my daughter and not returning to work until next Wednesday. Not really sure how relaxing this trip will be but an extended break from work is always welcome.

Today will be a repeat of the last two days with a high around 71° although we are starting out at 35° this morning.

Went to my first “Mug Club” social event at our favorite brewery last night and it was a pretty good time. Those types of events are not usually my thing but it went well. My wife was selected as a member of the Mug Club and I was just along for the ride.

Good morning to all. On my third coffee, triple IV infusion. I woke to find one of my huskies with an upset tummy. She was silent as a ninja and there were land mines everywhere. Fortunately most were in the bathroom. I really got to teach her to use the toilet. Spent the first part of the morning cleaning up the debris. Then off to an enjoyable espresso, which necessitated a second and then a third. Ah, much better now.  This is a Hazel, the offending culprit. It’s a good thing she’s so cute. Poor little girl.

Well goooood morning to you!!

So yeah starting to get soft (i.e. read: softER) in the head - was such a nice day yesterday I finished a few things in the morning then got dressed properly for the course, got some clubs together and drove over there .. intending to practice some and maybe walk a few holes .. to pull in and only then at that point remember that everything is still closed up on Tuesdays for now...

Maybe I'll try again today .. still a touch chilly but perfectly clear here so far!

Oh and had a second fail yesterday - supposed to be yard waste collection day (it's one Tuesday every two weeks) .. at least according to the printed Town calendar I have .. but apparently it wasn't...

But hopefully today -is- recycling day here!

Anyhow...

@Cfhandyman your wife is ridiculous - ridiculously talented!! Wow. I'm super impressed by creative people who can make things like that!

@Rob Person checked out that coffee co - they have one roast .. you can order Dark .. that's CAFFEINE INFUSED ..ohh boy gotta try that!

It's a beautiful morning here in mid-Michigan and hope the same is true wherever y'all are!  Today will make the 8th(!) time this year I've been able to get out on my home course.  For reference, my first round last year didn't happen until April 10.

Looking forward to some more testing/playing with the Maxfli Tour Max Alignment ball.  Not looking forward, however, to my appointment with the orthopedist.  Knees have been feeling "heavy" and increasingly balky so finally decided to have them looked at (last time was 1989 so I'm probably overdue).  I prefer to walk when I play so I'm hoping it is just age and not something more serious.

Now, waffles and coffee await!

Awww very cute!!! And she does have that 'gee I'm really sorry Daddy, I honestly couldn't help it' look 

 

@tdc1 hope doc appt goes well .. we all need those knees working so we can get out there on the course! (.. and I also like walking the course with a push cart)

Good morning! I have my yearly physical appointment this morning and then after that my tradition is to get some McDonald’s breakfast. Then hopefully I’ll be able to get out and walk 9 with a friend before going into work.

Good Wednesday Morning Spies! 

A bit on the cool side this morning in Central Florida, 61 degrees.  No golf this morning.  Yesterday was a long day at the golf course, Titleist fitting & Scramble.  Our team finished 3rd in the scramble, nice.  Absolutely beat this morning! 

Finishing 2nd cup of espresso & still laughing at @Dead Solid Bogey spending an hour on the treadmill At least he listens to his spouse

Not sure I like the warm weather trend and that we changed the time so it is light after work.   Normally I’d be doing most wanted iron testing or getting 9 in after work but still restricted from lifting anything over 10 lbs and not supposed to swing a club until April 1.  Going to be a long 2 1/2 weeks.
