Happy Friday indeed! Looking forward to my Superspeed session this morning. Will be a light day at the office, then we are preparing for a high school football playoff (regional championship) game at out home stadium. The buzz around town has been fantastic this season. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning MGSpies on a US Federal Holiday Friday, up at the usual time with a potentially full agenda beginning with MGS Forum of course!  We have a dry spell started yesterday with temps low 40s and higher so thinking 9 holes this morning as a warmup to my Veterans Day round tomorrow at Concord Crest GC which has become something of a tradition and last year my Veterans Day round was their last golfer on the course for 2022, thinking the weather will allow them to stay open longer in 2023.  RIT Hockey against Mercyhurst this evening so time with son in Rochester, it's going to be a full day  hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning everyone. It’s they kind of Friday where you aren’t yet convinced the light at the end of the tunnel isn’t an oncoming train. What a week this has been. Have some range time scheduled tomorrow and the weather looks like it will afford me a couple more rounds this month. Looking forward to getting in some testing time for the Titleist white box tomorrow as well. Should be a great end to a rough week. Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Good morning spies, TGIF!

Looking forward to the weekend, and getting back out to play. Have 18 lined up tomorrow afternoon at Ironhorse GC, really nice course only my second time playing it. Spent some time yesterday marking up balls with a triple track , been really liking the Maxfli Tour X but have some Tour S and Mizuno RB Tour X to try as well. 

Also, in the short window of time where KU basketball and football are both on tv. Should be another tune-up game for the bball team, but hope the football team can keep up their momentum and finish the season strong.

Good morning all, getting to play 2 this weekend starting today and one on Sunday, believe i have heard someone once say " its a great day to play 2" going to be 55 today so I didn't even need to think about what I was wearing today!  Galway Bay gear it keeps you dry and warm, one less thing you have to worry about when playing a round and or 2! Have a great weekend and THANKS TO ALL OUR VETERANS WHO  KEPT AND ARE KEEPING US SAFE!

74 degrees & sunny Central Florida morning.  On my 2nd cup of espresso & getting ready for Ranger duties today. Should be quite busy today at the course, high will be in the mid 80's & snow birds have returned.

Good morning and happy Friday Spies,

A mild day in Central NY. My morning cuppa is going down nicely. Not much on tap for the day. Take the old pupper for a walk. My running coach has a 3 mile in my program for today. I need to get a better handle on the appropriate layers for a chilly run. I was a tad bit cold on my last run. Not much on the golf front. Will spend time in the basement on the putting mat. I have several putting aids from PuttOut to occupy me.

Good morning all and happy Friday! Feels like it's been a long week and definitely ready to get to the weekend and get back into the woods. We are also doing some family and birthday photos for our youngest son, who turns 4 on December 12th. Weather looks really nice this weekend, which makes outdoor pictures much easier and enjoyable than the middle of December .

Going to go up to the country club for a fish fry tonight and a couple cocktails, then watch Badger Men's Basketball tip off against #9 Tennessee. One of, if not, my favorite sporting teams to watch. I just love college basketball.

Good morning Spies on a cool and partly cloudy Michigan morning. Later start for me here, as I have been both online and on the phone with FedEx regarding my iron shipment.

Received an email from them stating they will try and deliver again today about 6:00PM yesterday, then another about 10:00PM stating I needed to call them to make arrangements for either delivery or pick-up or they would return them to the sender?

So, I went online and filled out the information to have them delivered if possible last night and called the 800 number this morning to get any information from them.
Guess their 800 number people are not in the US, the agent could not tell me if they were being delivered or being held, all they said is FedEx was waiting on the sender to tell them what to do next.

The FedEx Ground hub is about 15 miles from my house, and I could have gone there, if I knew they were there, but even FedEx couldn't tell me that.

Hopefully, I get some information from them later, or they actually show up.

Either way, I have a round scheduled at noon today with 3 other friends, and the weather is supposed to be sunny and upper 40's so not too bad to lay.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the Veteran's here, and not here, for your service to our country.

May your day be the best it can be, and hopefully something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.

Bummed that I missed the community call yesterday. Got stuck on a work thing…. Or as I call it, non golf related call. In other news….
Today I get my new Takomo 101Ts. They are out for delivery via UPs!
I don’t have to work today AND it will be 60 and sunny….. what to do!?

Good morning everyone! Last night we went to the new simulator lounge here in town with @Itzpiiz and @LBee and that was my first swing since the rib dislocation in the first week of September. All in all pretty great, swing about 70-80 times, and the rib/chest held up without KT Tape or support, albeit sore today. Played Cabot Cliffs so that probably didn’t help, but I was able to take my driver to the 120mph swing speed bracket so I am excited! Booked my first lesson with a PGA pro out of the simi booth for the 24th and hope I can dial some things in.

Glad you are getting your new tools of fun.. Hopefully this was just geographically specific in my case. Actually got my Edison’s delivered by UPS  15 mins. ahead of notification that they were being delivered. Enjoy a long get acquainted weekend with the irons.

Happy Friday morning everyone!!  We took a trip this week to Portland for the funeral for my wife's cousin.  Seems like that's the only time her family has a gathering anymore... and the gaggle is getting smaller.  My side of the family is done... the next funeral will be mine, I guess.

Portland was beautiful... sunny and fairly warm, but we didn't take our clubs... should have!  The reception after the service was at the restaurant next to the Redtail Golf Course (where I bought my Callaway Epic Max driver 2.5 years ago and played 9 holes with Randy @Vegan_Golfer_PNW the next day.  We drove home yesterday morning and decided to walk 9-holes at our course because were were tired of sitting in the car and at the service.  A practice round where it took me 4 holes to get the ball off the ground when I wasn't using a tee.  Horrible!  I did finally manage to get a par on the last 3 holes!!  

Our course has their annual Turkey tournament tomorrow to raise money and food for the Mission on thanksgiving.  I'm done with that tournament... too gimmicky, so we will drop off a turkey on our way to our sister course across the river.

From a “ wet “ South Texas; Good Friday morning my esteemed spies. It is only getting to the mid-60’s here today.
 As we all know @Josh Parker is very nice and giving individual. Well even though his area  needed the rain, he left the door ajar, allowing us down here to get over 2 inches of rain on the course. Got in  9 holes before the rain. Didn’t get to really/fairly try any of the new wedges. With no golf, I settled in trying to encourage the little people in the neighborhood to jump and splash in the puddles, rivulets, and streams running down the curbs. Some parent or adult must have ratted me out to you know who. I was reprimanded and sent to husband time out.
     Later yesterday afternoon the wife person informed me that she was…

 I was further informed that she was headed off to the big city for four days with some other female monarchs to engage in shopping for the “ Great Girl Getaway “.. Geezch; my new wedges just keep getting more and more expensive. 
    As she flew out the door, my bride threw to/at me a novel sized list of Do’s and Do Not’s for me to adhere to. Yeah, right. 
    No golf today because of the weather. I plan on ignoring the list and actually go into rooms of the house that I am not allowed into without supervision. 
    May the start of your weekend be an incredible, increasingly wonderful time for you and those that you hold close.

Welcome… I am, myself, a rather recent enlistee to this extraordinarily friendly and informative forum. My experience so far has been a boon for my enjoyment of golf.

So not morning here anymore .. but Good Day! fellow Spies .. and not a very good morning for us doggy-wise...

(Warning: long winded rant follows)

Poor old poochie's back leg has been getting worse so we took him to the vet (again) - wife came along to help - I lift all 90 lbs of wiggling large dog in and out of the back of my Jeep Cherokee (so that's getting close to waist high on me) and ended up straining my lower back .. we have the one large dog that does not like car rides .. so golf today was cancelled...

..and so the vet ends up telling us to go to a specialist orthopedist .. we go home, call and get an appointment .. so another dead lift but this time thankfully helped by wife on the back half of him and another car trip...

So we're sitting here waiting while they X-ray him, which is after the initial consult and the secondary estimated bill consult .. but the rub night is all this was just a -medical- consult and not an *orthopedic* consult .. for which - yep - we'll have to come back...

..and I'm sitting here mad at the vet for not telling us two years ago to bring him here, and I'm also kicking myself for not being smart enough to just bring him here two years ago when this all started....

Ok .. long winded rant over.

Anyway - hope your day is happier and more productive!
