I lost 11 balls counted by the 13th!

Pro V1 x's to boot.

😱    Might I recommend Snell MTB-X at about $30/dozen.  They play very similar.

Windy - 79

but reached the 2 long par 5’s in 2 to day, actually the first time I’ve ever reached #15 in 2. Crushed the drive, then absolutely keerushed the 3 wood. Missed the eagle putts on both, but easy birdies.

Ended up playing a leisurely Tuesday 18 at Navy Marine from the back tees.

86 (40/46) with three doubles the last four holes.

FIR: 3/14 (21%)

GIR: 8/18 (44%)

37 putts (18/19) with four 3 jacks for a horrific -6.770 strokes gained putting. At this point, it's my main problem area!

5 over going into 18 -- pull the drive left, have to punch out (trees), leave my 7 iron approach short, chip 10 feet above the hole, miss the slippery putt down the hill and it rolls out long, then miss the putt back up the hill for a triple bogey!!!!!  80 for the round.  Sigh!

Pruning trees and playing golf don't mix!!  My shoulders are so sore, but it was a beautiful sunny day and we had a tee time.  Shot 82 with 3 doubles and no birdies.  Could have been a lot worse.  I made 4 par saving putts over 10 feet... one was over 20 feet!!

41

4/7 FiR

6/9 GiR

20 putts (yikes)

Windy day and the putter just wasn't working. Velocore seems pretty good, need more time with it. In all honesty probably won't be able to see a difference over the made for, but I'll probably keep it because I'm a fool.

10 over playing off 7. The most bizarre pin positions I've ever seen at my club. 10 holes were cut less than 3 yards from the edge of the green, a few others on steep slopes. Started well, 1 under after 3, 2 over after 9 with  17 putts. A couple of mental errors caused soft doubles. Made lots of 6-8 foot putts after seriously misreading the speed or being scared of putting the ball off the green.

After struggling to move with a sore back yesterday and dealing with an equipment breakdown last night and during my round I'm not to disappointed with it.

Increased the loft on my driver by a notch, and reduced the 5 wood back a degree. Pretty happy with the driver, much happier with the 5 wood.

The usual Friday 9 with @yungkory at Navy Marine. It was really windy and my tee game was not that great so it made for an interesting outing.

44 - With a damn snowman on #4 after a decent drive. This game is crazy.

0/7 FIR - The previously aforementioned not great tee game.

3/9 GIR

17 putts - Only one 3 jack this time, which is an improvement given my last few rounds.

My time in Hawaii is winding down and I'm hoping to leave with my game in a decent spot. Gotta keep grinding!

Rough day today.  Couldn't buy a putt!  43/41 for an 84.  Our season begins tomorrow, so we will begin posting again.

84....

43% of fairways, 33% of greens.

Played the 3 wood all day since I have the driver up for sale. After the 11th hole my back started to have the nerve action starting, so that’s when I start standing up, and get steep. I had one 1-putt all day. Not the best round, but I keep telling myself, “Just 5 strokes from 79...” I just want to be in the 70s every round.

Went to the range after and hit about 40 balls to get the feel of rotating and doing what I learned in my last lesson. Just gonna take time...
