New weight for my new driver.

Can't stop tinkering .. in my first range sesh with it, it felt maybe a hair light to me .. put a short piece of lead tape on it to add one swing weight .. took it to the range again and I think I like little bit of extra heft, to help me be more aware of where the club head is.

It’s just Ross. I have a hard time finding Large shirts there. I do better at Marshall’s or Burke (Now Beals or something like that)

I haven't been to Marshall's yet, there's one in Chattanooga and the last time I was close to it, I went to Ross. We do have a Beals here in town and haven't been there in forever. Might need to check them out.

Absolute fact there are golf snobs who cant spell bogey much less play bogey golf running around bashing clubs because of quote sound and feel because they read about it on the internet or heard a buddy say it. Absolute fact number 2 I dont care if my driver sounds like a clows nose being honked if its 15 yards longer and straight down the fairway

Found a Ping G15 3w for $19. It needed a grip, so I had the idea to have the club fitter cut the club down 3/4" and put a Lamkin Utx grip on it.

 

I'm going to channel my inner @GolfSpy_APH and use two 3 woods.

Titleist 917 f2 is 43" set at C1, 14.25° with a fade bias. The new Ping is 42.25" 15.5° non adjustable.

I spent more on the headcover than I did on the club The cover is really high quality and part of the purchase goes to FOH, so I'm ok with it.

headcover is SHARP, let me know how hard those to get on and off the club, I dont drive a cart crazy and if the winds blowing hard enough to blow off a headcover I am not playing anyway lol. I want my headcovers to be fairly loose and easy to get back on.

I wouldn't call it loose, but not hard to get off. I'll add a photo later, but the inside is a faux-furry type material that glides easy even though it fits snug.

Added: upon further inspection I think the inside may be lined with authentic Cookie Monster fur. Probably what drew my eye in the first place.

I've actually cancelled all I had on the eBay watching list, I was looking for a decent gap wedge and turns out I had one already a 20ish years old Mizuno T-Zoid F that suits me well. I'm going to try and find out what the specs are as I want to know why its so good, if you know plz tell me. Thanks...

Where did you find the FOH cover? I sit right by the CEO of FOH during football season and would love to show him me using the cover on the course!

Dick's Sporting Goods had them, driver fairway and hybrid, right where the Maxfli and Ping headcovers normally are. @J7Hawkins

Anyone have any idea when the driver swing speed breakdown will come out this year? Seems like it’s delayed compared to last few years.

I’ve been itching to try the Fujikura Motore X F3 shaft in my G400 Max driver. I went out on eBay and bought a used shaft with a Cobra adapter ($60) and an adapter ($12) for the G400 Max. I will hit up Golf Galaxy for a grip and look to putting it all together. I will have to find a place to get the old Cobra adapter pulled as I don’t have the tools for that job.

My EVNRoll ER-3 needed a new cover, and this one rocks!  It came friday after i got back from an after work round.  I don't get to show it off in person until this weekend.
