Rapsodo MLM2 Pro

Looks like Rapsodo is stepping into the Mevo Plus Bushnell Launch Pro range with the new MLM2 Pro, will be interesting to see the price point and full details as right now it looks like just a hype video, but 6 days until we get to learn more. Right now we know its a camera and radar system with the email I got saying that the camera will get club path and contact point (with 240fps is this fast enough, I have no idea) and and then get full shot tracer and swing video.

Also from the video it looks unsurprisingly like there will be simulation capabilities, hopefully with other integrations like E6, as they show someone hitting on a virtual hole. Also in the indoor shot they show a ball with a number of black dots on it, I wonder if that is specific and will be used with the camera to see spin in a limited flight environment. Obviously I am excited and in wild speculation/ over analyzing mode right now.

Also look like the one camera showed it from the side and not just behind the golfer ? I can see this being in the Mevo+ price range

Well I did not notice that which I must say is odd as I have watched it about 10 times already trying to get screen shots, you know like a totally sane person would do

it might just be how the camera was filming for the commercial and it just looked like it was from the side too .. but all the others were behind

That means that price-wise, it's closer to the Garmin Approach R10/Mevo (not plus) range, rather than the SkyTrak/Mevo+ range.

It'll be interesting to see the reviews on the accuracy of this. That has been the biggest complaint with the R10 that I've seen: there is a step up in accuracy from the R10 to the pricier units. If the new Rapsodo is accurate, it will be a very interesting competitor at that price.

I agree 700 feels like very cheap. It seems like basically taking the need for your phone to run as the camera and adding a camera to it (maybe slightly better than your iPhone) and then software upgrades with those specific balls to increase accuracy. The Rapsodo MLM always rates as pretty accurate especially for the price, and if with their own camera they can improve it even slightly that would be great. Though it makes me wonder how accurate the path and strike location metrics will be. Time will tell, though have to say for 700 I am tempted to dive in

Yes the press release @GolfSpy MPR shared that they partnered with Callaway to produce the balls with the dots filled in, and you get 3 for free. I am guessing pricing similar to Titleist RCT balls in the future.

I'm very excited for this release. I've looked at the Rapsodo in the past, but the lack of Android compatibility just killed it for me and I'm glad to see they have it here.

Looks really cool.  Just watched the Golficty video.  Some were asking about the side camera.  They said you can use your phone as a 3rd camera that you can place anywhere.

I have an MLM that I bought used and like it. At first glance this seems like a very appealing upgrade.
