I didn't know it either until recently. I can't see spending that type of money when the odds of winning something are 1 in 2.64.

We did a non traditional Christmas dinner where we made breakfast for dinner. Holiday meals are supposed to be special, right? Ain't nothing more special for this southern boy than biscuits and gravy.

Merry Christmas everyone! Had a blast celebrating with two young ones (less than 1 and 4). Hope everyone’s day was filled with love and laughter!

Christmas afternoon is one of the two most important days for me in my role as the anti-role model for the little ones in the neighborhood. I meander outside and hang out in the front yard. Soon enough there will be a small army or at least a horde of little ones out and about playing with their Christmas gifts. 
  This year, either a lot of families traveled for the holidays or the fact that it only got to around 60° might have kept the young ones inside, leaving very few of the young to come outside. Anyhow, did have a few venture over to show me what they had received for a gift(s) and to ask what I had gotten. True to the script written out for me, by we all know who; I explained that I had not been well behaved and so I didn’t get anything for Christmas, but that I would try harder this coming year to be good. The young males were aghast and crestfallen that I had gotten nothing. Whereas the young female totalitarians to be, just nodded their heads in agreement that I shouldn’t have gotten anything if I had not been good. When I told them, I was going to try harder next year…. One of the young alpha females in training informed the rest, that I say that every year and never follow through. That one will do well as a female family leader. 
   Anyhow, my holiday duty is done and I can turn to thinking about tomorrow and my mid-morning tee time. Will be cool enough that I may have to wear pants instead of shorts…. 
   Enjoy with your friends and family the rest of this day of wonderment my spies.
