I want to know what driver is going to be in your bag (or the longest intended driver) for 2024?

Is it old faithful from years past? Did you just pick up a new one that is going to be your gamer?

Mine is gonna be the Cobra Darkspeed LS 8* head with one of the following shafts.

Tour only Aldila Rogue 125msi 50TX

 

May try the PXG Black Ops Tour-1 yet but can’t believe it would be better.

Callaway AI Smoke Paradym TD 9 degree set neutral with Hazdus Smoke Yellow xstiff 6.5 shaft. Absolutely hammering this driver. Easy to work both ways and can flight it up or down. Love this driver!

PXG Gen 6 with Motore X shaft I was fit for last June.

The Cobra AeroJet has earned a years exemption in the bag for 2024. 

Something dramatic will have to happen to give this beauty the boot. You can see my tee marks from my last two rounds. The only changes coming will be more weights to continue tweaking the balance and perhaps another shaft, just because.

Definitely old reliable. My Tour Edge EXS 220. This will be year number 4. I get plenty of distance and I’ve been consistently over 60% on fairways hit. I have been trying new drivers here and there but I just put new irons in the bag so I’m not in a big hurry to find something.

I just picked one up for cheap at a golf show to trade up from an old TaylorMade from 2010. So far I've been impressed!

I cut down my stealth down to 42" and purchased a sims 2 max. The 42" I really like for tighter fairways

I’m almost certain you’ll tinker with the shaft 2-3 times during the season though!

Driver is going to be my first purchase this year. After the driver testing the Ping G430 Max 10K tops my list.

I can safely say I will be rocking the AJ all year, I am really loving this thing! I swapped out the HZRDUS Black for a Ventus Black and started playing it on the 9* draw setting. When my swing is good this thing hits rockets!

I’m sticking with my Titleist TSi3 with the Tensei 1K Black shaft. We got along pretty well last season when it went into the bag in May. Probably will mess with the settings a bit but, no real complaints from me.

Same here man. I actually just sold my Ping G425 and went back to the EXS pro because I just hit it better and more consistently.  Shaft is Ventus Red TR S flex

 

Other Driver I use is the Adams Idea from 2023 with Hazrdus Black Hand crafted 6.0

I cant seem to decide from these two but I tend to get less spin with the EXS Pro so Ill probably lean towards that.

I have every intention of sticking with my TSR2 with a Ventus Blue 6s.  
That said, I can see kicking some tires, especially with a new Ventus out.

Callaway Mavrik 9 degree adjusted to 11 with draw bias and Project X Hzrdus T800 shaft. Had it 3 years now and comfortable with it

Sticking with the Paradym this year but upgraded the shaft from a Ventus Blue 7s to a Ventus Black 6s. I don’t see myself getting a new driver for a couple years. unless there are some big improvements when I demo

Don’t have a need for a new driver and the new releases this year haven’t been a big improvement to make a move.

After watching the Titleist “feel” video, have been thinking about a TSR (was between a TSR 2 and 3).  Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on perspective), my local store didn’t have a LH demo available to hit…

My Sim 2 Max heard me mentioning a new driver and performed very well for me today…might have to keep it around a while longer if it keeps up.  Was long and hitting a consistent shot shape all day long.  It has been quite a while since I could say that!

I alternate between 2 drivers:  a Ping G425 Max with a UST Mamiya MP5 in ladies flex and a PXG Gen 5 0311XF with Graffaloy ProLaunch Blue 45 in senior flex.  I like both, but my first pick is the Ping.

I believe I already mentioned the Paradym TD being the go to for the season. My honest biggest debate is to see if I even want to try any others. Based off the range session that will be a no. 

Now as for what shaft is going to be the go to. That is an entirely different matter!

At least initially, will be using my old reliable, Callaway Big Bertha 10.5 degree, purchased new in 2014. Still hit it very well, but am looking to upgrade hopefully this year. Will be testing the new Callaways, Ping, Srixon, Titleist and TM drivers.
