Popular Post sp0rtsfan86 839
I think I've finally turned the corner and playing to my full ability. Played league last night and shot 40 on the back which up until last week 45 was my best score. I missed 2 putts of 8-12 feet but made a bomb of one from 35 feet that broke 6 foot right. My irons are crisp, the drives are straight enough that I have confidence and my wedges are finally coming together. The last two rounds before that were all in the low 40s on the front which is normal. Now I'm even playing better on the back 9 which is the big challenge. Last year around this time I started to play better and better but I haven't played as much. Here's to seeing how low I can go. 13 Quote Driver: Epic Flash 12 Degree Wood: GBB 3 Wood Hybrid: Razr 4 hybriid stiff stock shaft. Popular Post Lacassem 9,163
So mad at myself. I had a great round that I butchered on 4 holes. I am not complaining here because I actually had a god day just mad because the putting was all my fault. 43/39. I had MULTIPLE birdie chances today. Hole 2 I 3 putted from 10’. Tripled 3 and should have had a par on 4 but again....3 putted a 8’ putt. turned it around and had a fantastic last 5-9. It was extremely warm today and 10 I almost lost the club my hand was so slippery so broke out the towel. Bogey. Other than that was a clean card until 16 where I tripled. Wedges are starting to become unreliable right now. Not sure if it’s an adjustment I have made in my swing since I was fitted, not sure.... I had 10 greens and was crushing driver/3W and had multiple 280+ drives. 13 Quote Follow my overall Vegan transition here Check out my reviews G710 Irons Lacassem official review FlexTech is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by : TS2 9.5 - Project X HZRDUS RDX Blue 6.5 SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green 2H VST - Super Idea S Matrix Kujoh S-Flex 2019 P790 4-PW - Project X 6.5 LZ 52, 56, 60 SM7 - Nippon Modus 125 O-Works 1W PROV1X #19 Bushnell Tour V3 Jolt Thank you to all those that have served/are serving and God Bless America

Rickp 21,341
Played one of the tougher 9’s this morning. Brought a G710 7i to match up against 919 Hot Metal 7i, so far 919 has a slight edge. MaxEntropy 6,624
Had a very good night in league tonight. 39 (+4) with 2 penalties due to wayward drives for a net 31. I had a case of the pulls with driver tonight, so I tried to play the pull at exactly the wrong time (woods right) but the irons were about the best I've hit them in a long time, maybe ever. You know when you are flushing irons and you almost can't hear or feel the contact? That happened a lot tonight and it's totally addictive. Let's hope the golf gods don't think some sort of redemption is due next time. I was also playing a TP5x I found last week. I've never played one before and I think I love them. Too bad I can't justify the price. I had a nasty chip tonight after being long on my approach. Downhill lie, above the green with the green sloping back-to-front. Never a fun chip. Clipped it perfectly to a couple feet on the green and to ball checked up incredibly, then trickled forever leaving about 10 feet up the hill. Missed the putt, but it could have been ugly had the ball not spun like it did. 8 Quote Driver: Tour B JGR 9.5* Recoil 460ES cut to 45" 3W: Tour B JGR 15* Recoil 460ES 3H, 4H: Tour B JGR 19*, 23* Recoil 780ES 4-PW: Tour B JGR HF2 Modus3 Tour 105 AW: S5 52* SW: 588 LW: MD3 Putter: Stroke Lab Marxman Bag: Tour B Stand Bag Ball: Z-Star Pushcart: BigMax iQ+ Tester Starting Driver Speed on PRGR Monitor: 102 mph Final Driver Speed (end of Level 2): 120 mph

Kanoito 2,336
Things are starting to come around... I've shot 82, 82, 83 in the last 2 weeks. Still have a couple of competitive rounds til the end of the season, so hopefully I can shoot it when it counts. The new SZ driver is definitely longer, I'm carrying some bunkers I couldn't before, but the % of fairways hit is still too low for my liking. Lacassem 9,163
Great day, but like I referred in CCC4 with @GB13 my putting is sh1t right now. 40/40’with multiple 3 putts. Not due to bad chipping either. 9 fairways 11 greens. 11 pars/6 bogeys/1 double bedt purchase this year is the push cart. The course today is Blackstone national and is probably one of the toughest to walk but I felt great during and after, feel like I actually am getting something out of playing. I followed arccos recommendations today and the waiting menu for club selection had me dying! and the blemish of the day. Should have been an easy par after I nutted the 3W position A 8 Quote Follow my overall Vegan transition here Check out my reviews G710 Irons Lacassem official review FlexTech is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by : TS2 9.5 - Project X HZRDUS RDX Blue 6.5 SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green 2H VST - Super Idea S Matrix Kujoh S-Flex 2019 P790 4-PW - Project X 6.5 LZ 52, 56, 60 SM7 - Nippon Modus 125 O-Works 1W PROV1X #19 Bushnell Tour V3 Jolt Thank you to all those that have served/are serving and God Bless America
CarlH 4,783
Mr Double Bogey has done it again. 39 on the front with a double, 39 on the back with another double for a smooth 6 over 78. Both doubles were just lack of concentration -- i.e. no penalty, just dumb azz play. And, despite have numerous birdie opportunities today, I squandered them. To my credit, we're in a really hot spell (100*+) and the super is pouring the water to the greens and fairways in an attempt to stay ahead of the heat. cciciora13 698
I've been trending in the right direction for a while now, but always seem to have a couple of errant shots which limit me from shooting even or under par. Today I finally put it all together. I shot my best 9 hole round in a while 35 (-1). Made 3 birdie putts but was 2 under after 8 holes and then hit one in the water. Still was able to scramble for a 5. Felt good to finally put a round together. Nice round!! Tough to concentrate for 18 holes in 100º+ heat. We are up to nearly 110º every day this week, and our course is dried out in spots. We have a lot of mounds on the course, and they can water all night long, but the low areas are soaked and the tops are burnt to a crisp. I'll get a few pics IF we play this weekend. My wife played with the ladies this morning, but only lasted 7 holes. She quit after 7 holes because she felt like her BP was a little high. Mtbryant01 619
79 42/37 9 pars, 2 birdies 30 putts (only 1 3 putt) 5 penalties (I’ll get to that) I played my home course today, Robert Trent Jones Valley course with one of my regular golf buddies. I got to the course about a hour early and went to go hit some balls on the range. Got around to my driver and hit one, I thought man that sounded weird. I pick up the club and notice a big crack on the bottom of the face. No clue how it happened, but thankfully I bought the club through the head pro here at this RTJ. I was able to drop it off and let me handle getting a new head from Ping for me. Disclaimer: I have only had this driver for about a month now. Back to my round, I don’t have a driver, so I’m having to borrow my buddies driver. His driver is the M5 compared to my G410 plus. Let’s just say I lost a ball off the tee on the first 3/4 holes that I needed a driver for. It took me until the back 9 to finally figure it out. Thankfully my irons were on fire today and saved me from my long journey on the tee box. I was pretty stoked about breaking 80 with 5 penalties. Could have been one of my PR days as my best par 72 record is 77. 6 Quote G410 Plus, w/ X stiff 75 g Project X Evenflow Black shaft driver GT Tight Lies 3 & 5 wood SLDR AW - 4 iron S flex Rotex 2.0 RTX 588 56° Vokey SM7 08M 60° Newport 2.5 putter MTB X golf balls RH, Alabama
