So that's not for a car then, it's more like around the track signage?

Actually both. Will have some sponsorship at the tracks and more importantly an anchor sponsor for a car. Going through the process now of marking up the design for the car, team shirts and a fire suit.

I lost my gap wedge (Callaway Apex 21 A wedge) at a course that is not my home course.  I’m not sure where I left it there.  I didn’t notice it was missing until the 18th hole.  
 

I got fit for my clubs about three years ago thru Truespec golf which was awesome and I highly recommend them as fitters/builders, but they are expensive.  I contacted them yesterday to see what the price would be to order a new A wedge…it came back as 400 after taxes…I almost pulled the trigger on it.  I realized that it was way too much for a club, I put my foot down.  I did a little searching and found that I could have the same exact club built from 2nd swing golf for less then half the price.  
 

im pretty bummed I lost a club and no one returned it, I’ve called the pro shop everyday for two weeks.  Im pretty excited I found a good place to replace my club with the exact shaft and specs.

Parts came in for the toolbox special. 10 minutes to swap the shocks , 15 minutes to clamp it down. Being that it is diamond plated ans I don't want to scratch the bed rails, I cut some strips of old rubber car floor mats to use as a protective barrier. This will also prevent water from being trapped between the 2 surfaces. Maybe it will act as a vibration dampener too?

All in about $60.

I wanted to create a new thread called "Golf Course WTF conversations" but thought the better of it. It's Saturday which means couple's golf. My wife and I are playing in a scramble with 2 guys who are pretty decent golfers - low teens hcp. We get to the first Par 3 and all the guys are playing from the same tee box. First guy walks up and checks his GPS watch: I've got 151, the second guy says, I've got 140. I walk up with my LRF shoot the pin for 159 yds. They both turn to me and say are you sure that's right. Ok I'll shoot it one more time 159. Note that same conversation occurred on almost every hole the rest of the day. What don't you understand about technology .

Went for an eye exam today and now trying to figure out how as I get older my vision is getting better?  My prescription is now half the strength it was 10 years ago when I was in my late 30’s. The downside is in addition to getting new contacts I had to get new glasses as well.

I have a 2011 volvo s60 that I love. (125k miles) I may keep it another ten years.  I put $4400 into it over the past week…way home from work today the check engine light came on!  My 3 and 5 year old are watching finding Dory as I open my third Guinness.  My car is up for an oil change, I hope it’s just that!  At least I’m golfing both Saturday and Sunday morning!

Not sure how I lost track of this thread for so long, but just had to share this one.

Couldn't decide the NFL thread or another one but this is random but the BEST GOLF QUOTE of my lifetime from Keon Coleman in a Pre-Draft interview with the Buffalo Bills staff:

Bills staff asked Coleman about his off-the-field activities and he mentioned he plays golf and he said this:

"I'm Tiger WishHeCould,  I'm not Tiger Woods."

I'm in the planning stages of my annual trip to Pinehurst in July.  Likely it will include 3 nights, and 2 rounds of golf.  July can be horrible hot down there, but it is a tradition for my wife and I to spend our anniversary there.  I did give her an out this year, asking her where she would like to go for our anniversary trip, and she responded Pinehurst with no delay in responding.
