Asher Gloves

Got my shipment of the new Asher's in - his was a favorite brand of mine before they went away. They always had some cool colors and styles. Glad they're back.

Fit was excellent - very comfortable and did what you need a glove to do. Also got a Cobalt --

 

 

 

And one of their Chuck series ...

 

 

 

Not bad st all. There's a noticeable difference in feel between the premium gloves and the Chucks, as well as a difference in fit. But they come in lots of colors and are on par with what I remember from the original Asher's.

Great to hear.  I was a big fan of the previous blue 10 buck Chuck.  I've also got a couple of the premium gloves that worked very nice.

 

Sounds like I'll be putting these on the Father's Day list!

I remember that as well -- had  their Bob Marley themed "One Glove" a few years back - loved it but my hand would be red and green for a day after a round. 

 

The only died part of the Alta is the thumb - didn't notice anything after the round, so if there was any bleeding dye I didn't notice it.

 

Two rounds in I gotta say I like this glove very much - not cheap at $22, but comfy and it doesn't stretch out.  I'll try the Chuck out later this week if the weather holds...

Like the Volt colored one. I only use a glove for driver and full long irons. Anything less than a 7 iron the glove comes off.

I read that the dye can be bad in hot humid conditions so I didn't purchase any, but I do like the look of them. May just have to walk Around with a red and blue hand one week and a black hand another week.

That's the one that got me and "the American" glove too. I will say they held their shape well.

I've been using the death grip glove for the last couple rounds, I really like it, the fit is a bit smaller, but I like them to fit a bit snug anyway. I will probably by more, maybe the Alta, but they are kind of costly, I will wait and see how long this one holds up before make another purchase.

what kind of longevity are you seeing with these gloves?

 

In the Southeast Texas humidity this time of year I can really eat up gloves....I really like the Hirzl Control gloves but they are getting harder to find....the great thing about them is they will last for 3+ months

I've used it for only about 5 rounds here is South Carolina, where we've had mid 90's and 95% humidity for about 3 weeks straight now. I don't see much wear on the glove yet, I usually go through 2-3 gloves per round because of sweat. So far I haven't had any issues with the glove. I have white death grip.

Wow. 3 day turn around from order to receiving them.

Awesome right there. They feel great, little tight as others have said but look great. Can't wait to test them.

Yes, get some of those Velcro strips for holding wires on your tv and hang it from the handle on the cart. Let them hang to dry, and just swap it out when it one gets too damp to use. Hanging them up helps them dry faster.

Come south. Lol very easy to go thru couple gloves.

If the round is more than fun, I have broken out my rain gloves before.

The last 4 weeks have been so humid here, mid 90's and 95% humidity, it's been crazy, I'll have 1 glove pretty soaked by the 5th hole usually. I use an old glove to warm up if I hit balls, so I have my good one fresh on the first tee.

I actually gave it a try yesterday. Swapped on the 10th tee to an older glove that I keep as a spare just in case. Only got 3 holes in on the back before the course was closing up, but I kinda like the fresh glove. Not nearly as humid here, about 88 and 60 ish percent humidity, but I feel like I have sweaty hands compared to most people. Thanks for the tip! Might try one of these Asher gloves!

I'll switch back and forth, Play a few holes, then switch, and then switch again later. My buddy pulled out one of his wet weather gloves today, since they get tackier as they get wet.

Lil update on my purchase.

I bought one of the ghost chuck gloves and after 3 rounds it has a hole in the thumb.

Never had a glove do that before.

I just emailed them to see what they can do.

Relationship isn't starting off smooth.
