I finally got semi-settled enough in our new house to get out and play 18 today.  I sucked.  I sucked bad....but...... I was in shorts and a UA polo......in mid-february...so it was awesome!!!!!!

Yeah, Texas has had the weirdest weather this year. Sunday it was in the 70's then Monday it was in the 30's. It's even colder today, then high 60's thursday and 70's again friday. It's nice to be able to play but the constant temperature changes get me sick. I have a constant cold and cough this time of year.

It was supposed to be 38 today on the Grand Strand but we have not made it yet. they are calling for that nasty snow and ice like we got 2 weeks ago

Just keeps coming here in NY. It's getting to the point to where I can't pile the snow any higher. It feels like at this rate I won't be playing until June. I luckily got to play a couple of weeks ago while in Orlando, but 18 holes can only hold me over for so long. Going to try to hit the indoor range this weekend.

Well we got lucky on the Strand today we did get ice in the trees last night and lots of trees and limbs down but the temps warmed up today and is not expected to drop below freezing tonight. The roads did not ice up. I dispatched today and we did not get a lot of calls but they caught hell today north of me in the upstate of SC an In NC. I was bored scanning the Weather Channel and it was warmer in Fargo ND than it was here today. I did have a salvage pickup scheduled today but those people called and said they could not get a truck out today from Charlotte NC or Dunn NC or Columbia SC so the pickup would be made tomorrow or Friday. it has warmed up to about 40 as of now and it is raining in Biblical proportions here

Yep I saw that I really feel for you folks. I had people call me today asking if they could come over if their power went out because they know I have a woodstove and a big generator. Sure cant let yall freeze now

This is what it feels like to live in the north.  It took me over a half hour today just to have the ability to get mail tomorrow.

Wow hckymeyer! Now that is piled high! We at least have had a bit of a thaw over the past few days. I may have even spotted some grass this morning.

Speaking of grass, I can see a lot of our now. Which is just as well, because the handle on my snowthrower broke the last time I used it on Tuesday.

Not to pour more salt on the wound but today I'm playing...again. The forecast is for 83*, sunny and a light 10 mph breeze. I have only had to miss one weekend since first of the year.
