Technically the King adapter is new (1 gram lighter) but the adapters from Biocell and Fly Z will both work in the king head.  Depending on the adapter the lofts might not match up though.  Not a big deal, just might have to do some maths to figure out what setting you are actually on.

Bought a pair of Oakley shades in the airport yesterday with the new Prizm lenses.  Too bad I was a bit under the weather this morning and decided not to play and give them a try.

I'm anxious to hear how you like them. I've never been much for wearing sunglasses while playing but I've been considering these for a while.

Will certainly let you know. I have been wearing Oakly shades for the last 25+ years and swear by them. I would guess I own somewhere I the neighborhood of 60 pairs going back to my baseball days when I got several pairs a year for nothing.

I have been wearing the Wylie X sunglasses with my prescription in the lenses. They are sort of wrap around and really keep the sun out. I wore Oakleys back n the day when I was racing bicycles.

My course was having a pre-Christmas sale, 15% off. When I stopped in, pre-round, found out only Ping was excluded. Not Titleist. I needed a 60*, so bought a Vokey SM5 for $106, new. I was so impressed with it, I went back after my round and bought the matching SW. Yesterday I chipped in for bird on #11. I really love the feel of these wedges.

I had a $10 voucher from Dick's. so I picked up two Zero Friction Gloves (Balck 7 Green) to add to my collection.  They are one size fits all, and with my Cadet fingers they fit well.

My friend has lost his mind. He is stalking second-hand stores for donated golf gear, and is bringing it home and trying to sell on ebay. He might buff or change a grip to enhance the "product".

Got a great deal on a Kiyoshi Black 65 04 to test out in the King.  

 

Then I also used some leftover shop credit and ordered a King F6+ with a HZRDUS 65 stiff.

 

I'll be doing the King LTD vs F6+ vs SLDR shootout in the near future.  Although I don't know if any decisions will be made until I get some time outdoors with them.

I would agree with that. I liked the first pair I bought so much that I picked up a pair of M frame prizms last week when I was in Vegas.

Just ordered some wedge shafts for an experiment that I want to try. 20+ hours on a plane this week and eBay are a bad combination. 50/50 I pull the trigger on a putter by the time that I land.

My brother Dape (Dave + ape) has lost his mind. He is stalking local Salvation Army stores for donated golf gear, and is bringing it home and trying to sell on ebay. He might buff or change a grip to enhance the "product".

He rummages through the garbage bins at Golfsmith and Dicks for boxes to ship this stuff.

Net profits are meager, if he stops at McDonald's while out on the prowl he loses money.

He's got some decent clubmaking skills, but he has that dreaded thirst for Aunt Sallys deals. Sick.

Does this make him a ho?

Not necessarily......but it does make him a golf junkie.....

So today was a first for me. Was supposed to be off today and ended up with a ton of meetings that I had to call into so my wife suggested that I take them and head to PGA Superstore. She also told me that I could essentially buy anything I wanted and not to worry about it. Spent over an hour in the store looking at gear and ended up buying nothing at all. Seriously could not even find a putter to take home with me. Maybe this is a sign that I am finally set with what is n my bag and won't change things every two weeks.

It means he's in the same business as Fred and Lamont. Nothing wrong with the junk business. Personally I've checked several Goodwill stores' golf donations. All were rusting 20-30 year old stuff. You'd need a tetnus shot if you played it.

Yesterday he returned home with more "product", then upon closer inspection, he found he had damaged goods. Sorry, all sales are final at Aunt Sallys.

Found a Fly Z+ (Red) with Regular shaft for $80......off ebay from Morton Golf.......

 

My plan is to try the Paderson shaft (Bio Cell Adapter) in the Fly Z+ versus my current Bio Cell.

LOVE the sweater vest!!!!  Also, a Fly Z+ for $80?? damn, i got mine last year for 282 new, and have only got to play like 3 -4 rounds. Not in the market to upgrade, but that's a helluva find. Morton Golf is the parent company at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex about 10 minutes from my house, but i shoulder probably stay away. 

 

I recently picked up ANOTHER Spalding TPM 12 putter that i'm refinishing into a new color. I'll post picks once it all comes together
