I really may order one for the new sub70 2 iron I have on the way.  Black head, black kbs shaft and had picked mcc Grey for grip but the black and yellow is killer!

Regarding wedges I was a Cleveland 588 lifer until last year when i had to replace due to worn out grooves.  I was fitted for an SM9 at the mid atlantic spy gathering and picked up a clevland RTX3.  I have been using them effectively since last fall.  Being a wedge-aholic i had to sign up for Edison testing and was lucky to be chosen.   Besides my testing I had a couple good players (a 1 and a 6) hit them too and both said they could replace the Clevelands they currently use.  One hits RTX3's and the other plays Zipcores.

I could give a spoiler on my plans before the final review is up but i will let the suspense build!!

... Haha one mans cord is another mans sandpaper. I don't use a glove so never cord for me because ... well ...  you know I have actors hands. Thankfully new grips have amazing tack or secure materials and I don't even need to rub them down before shots anymore like I did with Tour Velvet. Lamkin ST+2 Hybrids grips are the best I have ever used. of course Ymmv ...

Hoping to replace or upgrade my irons soon. Not sure with what yet. I just started playing again after a 12 year break!  I currently have Taylormade Rac os, They have gotten in rough shape with rusty shafts over the years, letting people borrow them and being stored in my dads basement. 

shoot in the 90’s looking for something forgiving and consistent. Not really concerned about distance.  Eying the ping g430’s, Takomo 101’s, mizuno 923 hot metals and others.  Price on the pings is my biggest concern.  Hopefully I can find somewhere to test some out soon!

Irons and Wedges are on my list. For irons, I landed in some pings the last time I got fit, they are solid but I find I cannot work the ball as much as I would like these days now that I am getting more serious about my game again.

I have SteelFiber i90’s in my Edison’s. Was playing SteelFiber i80’s in the Cobra Snake Bite wedges. Still playing the i80’s in a utility club and a hybrid. I went to the steelfibers in semi desperation about my hand/wrist issue(s). They have helped. Good luck in satisfying the curiosity…Just  DON’T be a cat.

Love the stats and reviews on Titleist 2022 T400 irons. I play older Mizuno SGI irons now, and they have my heart, though, I would like the extra distance on offer from the Titleist. Haven't really decided. Best, -Marv

Try hitting at the pgatss stores or comparable to get a feel and comparison.  Ask them to email the foresight data to you so if you go multiple times to get trends.  Then find a fitter, it’s well worth it.  I tried a lot of brands, including 923s, g430s and rogue STMax. It just came down carry distance and spin, and the 923s won.  Price of the 923s was the best as well.

I had a set of the dual core. I liked them, but I couldn't get the ball in the air. That was probably a shaft issue. They felt pretty good, though.

I have the same curiosity itch going on with steelfiber shafts.  I think i will make it my winter experiment and multiple stops at 2nd swing are in my future.  Of course that probably means a "new" set of used irons too!

Edel sms/sms pro, new level 902os, gimar irons?, foreward irons, ping i230 ( I usually go to my local golf shop once a week, and hit the ping i230  I like them a lot. I would love to see how they perform with a good fitting).

shafts: axiom, raijin (Va composites), steel fiber. (I game KBS TGI). 

Right now I game apex21/apex dcb combo.

I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on these.  I have an itch for edel irons after such great reviews from the forum members, I’m also intrigued by the 1 length iron aspect.  It’s only a 6-p, but it’s still under 400 in mint.  Anyone have any experience with these edel irons?

Fra from an Shaft expert but my T300 irons came with these and out of 3 sets of graphite shafted irons, I like these the best.
