Welp, it took me reading the intros three times each to reach a decision.

Kudos to all of the competitors for making this a difficult decision.

Even though I hate the hashtag, it's @edingc that's earned my vote in week one. (hate the hashtag because Phil used to be a good tournament golfer and is now reduced down to gimmicky phrases like, "Hit bombs" or "Calves like Adonis")

Best of luck to all the competitors. I'm looking forward to seeing how you choose to tackle the various challenges.

Unfortunately Miggy was a huge part of the reason they had the trade away Scherzer (who was basically just looking to cash in on a big pay day), and eventually Verlander somewhat too (who was reported to have been more concerned with being with a competitive team then just salary considerations).

Considering Miggy is making $30+ million until 2025...and hasn't broken .300 BA since 2016 and lost some considerable power with some injuries...this is a pretty large reason why the Tigs are hurting so much the last few years. Baseball contracts can be super jank and sometimes you can't avoid the dead back-end years to hopefully cash in now.

Is it obvious I'm a slightly frustrated Tigers fan? Rant over

I too just started watching this documentary of MJ and the Chicago Bulls franchise.  It is very well done and highly recommended - especially those who enjoyed the NBA during that period of time.  Poor Scottie Pippen, arguably the best and most underpaid #2 man to play the game.

Scrambled my way around to a 39 this morning.

 I was hitting way off the toe but still managed some decent driving distance.  The first two holes were bad, but then I settled in.  I had a nice bunker shot on two and already have a big spot on the 60* Wedge now.  I wasn’t expecting that much to show right away, but I’m glad it in the spot it is!

Here’s the spot:

I also had a good drive on 4 which ended up short of a green side bunker.

And this lovely pitch for Birdie!

 

I do have to say, the wedges feel great.  The driving woes today were certainly on me, as I was living way further out on the toe than I normally hit.

Yeah.  A co-worker showed me a recent video of him on Instagram and dang if he isn’t as fast as ever.  
 

Hopefully they go through with the movie, I think it will be a great one.

But maybe Mr. T would have a better go with some Cobras?

The power and speed he had was just incredible and agreed he is just as fast and powerful (maybe not as limber though).

Jamie Foxx will do a really good job with that I hope it goes through.

It’s an amazing docu-series. And when they replayed several of Jordan’s games and moments ... it’s so apparent that he was just so far ahead of his time.

You don’t realize it at that time, but compared to today’s players, there really isn’t anyone remotely close to Jordan’s level and style of play. To me, he made it all look so effortless and poetic at the same time ... even his dunks at the time are memorizing.

I actually put the GoPro in the umbrella holder of my CaddyTec Cart. Worked out well!

For comparison sake here’s my 60* SM7 which has 58 shots on it this year including several bunker shots.

Yea, based on this topic and discussions in other threads, Titleist / Vokey has owns the best recipe... and I'll bet they are guarding it like KFC and Coca-Cola.

Cobra has used DBM in the past (last year's contestants had it on their Cobra KING black wedges), but the problem is that DBM makes the metal so hard that it becomes brittle and impossible to adjust. My Maltby M-Series+ wedges have the DBM finish and it's darn near indestructable.

The MIM Black finish, QPQ, isn't as durable but can be bent! Quite a bit, since my wedges are 3 flat.

But yes, I have two marks on my 58 face already from bunker shots.

That they do. I have the black finish on my SM7s as well and have really enjoyed them.

One thing that annoys me about my current irons is that the PW & GW feel like shovels compared to the SM7s. 

Meanwhile, I can definitely understand the feeling y’all went thru when it came time to rcv a shipping notification for your clubs and it’s pending arrival. 

Looking fwd to my first review with the LX5 watch and it simply can’t get here soon enough.
