Good Aftenoon.   Busy morning with helping take down Xmas decorations and changing smoke alarm batteries and other fun Sunday at home stuff. 
 

watched a disappointing Maryland Hoops loss.  
 

Now looking forward to both games.

Golf and running are New Balance and tend to have the most options.

Look like they carry wide and extra wide. 

I do have a few shoe stretchers just for this reason. Often get shoes that are “supposed” to be wide and they are for someone with feet as wide as the top sole of my clubs. Use the shoe stretchers and then they usually fit fine. 

I agree though, the New Balance options seem to be really nice. Have golf shoes and love them.

Funny how we see things differently; I see a great putting green (white) with a bag of balls number of chances of rolling one to the steps on the far side over there.  The yellow ones will probably be the best because you know how cool they are.

Good afternoon Spies! On the road today, posting from my hotel room. GF's birthday celebration kept me up late and then I slept until almost noon, and I needed to hit the road by 2:30. Did, sorta. Not sure I wasn't driving while asleep...

GF at the golf simulator was... interesting. I showed her how to grip and how to take a stance, then she ignored my advice completely. Her stance was most similar to a hockey player about to take a slap shot, as was her grip -- the lower hand was a foot below the top hand. Oh, and she's a righty, but she said she was more comfortable as a Mickelson clone (righty swinging lefty). So I went and found left handed clubs at the simulator. She wasn't making great contact but she was making contact. Of course, four martinis might have had something to do with all of this. After she stopped playing golf she was flirting with the (female) bartender. As I said, an interesting evening.. To cap it off she cut and ate her birthday cake and only 30 minutes later recalled the candles which were never lit.

Not sure I'm going to get a golf club in her hands again, but she tried.

Ben Johnson had 6 teams want to interview him, and Aaron Glenn had 4 teams interview him for potential head coach positions.

Talk around here is Ben Johnson is a favorite to land in DC with the new ownership group and GM. Speculation at this time.

Speaking of head coaches. I am excited that the Raiders kept Antonio Pierce after we blew it with the last interim coach we should have kept in Rich Bisaccia. Excited for the future of the team.

Also, I am 100% all in for a Lions vs. Ravens Super Bowl this year! But we shall see. The Chiefs are picking back up and you can't count out a team with CMC on the team.

It's a back to work Monday, but it's the last morning we'll see really cold weather for a while.

Sorry, Bills fans. I was rooting for your guys to finally put down the Chiefs in your own home. Oof. Now I am curious how they’ll match up against the Ravens.

It’s cold and wet, and the snow is slowly melting. It’ll reach in the high 40s this week. I’ve got time tomorrow morning. We’ll see how it goes.

Good morning spies! Starting the day off at 25°F and heading for high around 34°F today. Looks like that will be the trend everyday for the next week or so. That will definitely help to get rid of the two feet of snow that we have on the ground.

Back to the grind Monday so I better get a move on, have a great day spies!

Good morning Spies on a "back to work" Monday for some here.

Currently about 15, but supposed to get close to freezing, but then we get another round of snow, turing to freezing rain and ice starting later tonight through tomorrow.

Hoping to get done what needs to be done at the facility today, so if it is bad driving, I can work from home tomorrow. Time will tell.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable may be in your plans.

Good morning MGSpies on a dark cold Monday in WNY with no new snow and forecast of rain in a temperature inversion so that rain will be falling into upper 20s conditions and Kenny @Kenny B looks like I might get a chance to do my own putting on the still feet thick snow/ice pack.  commute this morning was down stairs to the basement workspace and network is already online with the work computer  Thank you Bills for another great season, maybe next year.  Yesterday's Veteran curling was great fun, like my golf this activity is not (supposed to be) competitive.

This was the last yellow stone in an attempt to stop red from taking the end.

Dreaming of warmer days on the golf course, hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning spies! Another weekend here and gone in the blink of an eye. Was able to relax and watch some football which felt great. I was also able to hit the simulator and play 18 holes. It felt good to get out and swing. My swing felt pretty good for not swinging regularly. I had two birdies, two bogeys, and the rest pars. I know that simulators aren't always accurate, but I'll take an even round any day. Now for the weather to warm up so I can go play real golf!

Good morning everyone. Back to the grind Monday and ready to go. Looking forward to a week with no snow in the forecast and highs above the freezing mark. The snow piled up will take a long time to melt but even the slimmer of a chance that the practice areas could open up is enough to get me excited. Hope everyone has a great start to their week!

The new net should show up today (again) and I think I will have a window this afternoon to get it set up in between the rain.

Plenty of RE stuff to take care of this morning.  We have 3 under contract and just made an offer on one yesterday that I am hoping gets accepted.

Good Morning everyone!  Still under freezing rain advisory until 10 am today, but it's 33º outside.  Temps getting up to 40º the rest of the week with occasional showers, but it will take awhile for the snow and ice to fully melt.  I don't see the course opening this week.  Too bad, because I made a bunch of full swings yesterday and it felt good... eager to get out to play!!

Watch out for the snow and ice headed east!!  It's nasty!  Be safe everyone.

Well a good surprise for today, they gave us the day off. Now to figure out what to do since it’s a nice balmy 21 degrees this morning. Going to drink my coffee and ponder life as I am slated to retire in July of next year.

The guy that used to live in the house we bought left his practice net. Taking a look at it, looks like I would need to either replace the netting or just add to it to make it useable again. Probably going to be a spring project once we get our big garage setup the way we want it.

Nets are easy enough to get if everything else is in good shape.

Happy Monday! Another week of this fun stuff called work… amirite? The roads around here are pretty much a sheet of ice. I’m very fortunate to be able to work remote most days. The good news is, It looks like it’s the last really cold day for a little while, which is nice. Slowly but surely getting through Winter.
