For all of us with a MyGolfSpouse who doesn't share the obsession, it would be awesome to know what tactics were used to secure these approvals from the one who must be okay with it  of course it would all be hypothetical because none of the comments would be verifiable or anything that would be used as evidence in a court of law.

Mine was more of a statement of what was being planned for this year.  So my approval was more of a "that's nice dear" although no actual words were spoken, there might have been an eye roll or similar but to be sure I said it all twice on two different occasions when she was actually listening. 

Applying the "I told you so you know about it" principle that applies to me, as I am told so often, I take that as solid backing.

I wish I could have made this trip!  My wife and I already made plans to meet friends out in Las Vegas that weekend.  Best of luck to all who make it there.  It sounds like a great adventure!

I'm thankful my wife is extremely supportive of my golf addiction and approved the trip quickly. I don't think it hurt that I buttered her up a few months ago with a brand new computer that cost a bit more than the trip.

OKAY, Listen up. I told you all I was coming on the Kingsmill outing. I signed up even though I’m a freeloader hanging out in someone’s golf bag.

Then I hear about a separate thread for members. People are calling me out and I don’t have the opportunity to defend myself or rip someone else apart!

You can tell from my color I’m a little upset. Will someone please add me to this mysterious thread I heard about?

Or are you just afraid of what I have to say?

Well, I’m still waiting! Maybe @GolfSpy SAM is still awake.

My wife loves the Yellow Ball!!  She just switched from Yellow Titleist TruFeel to Yellow Maxfli Tour S.  She's looking forward to seeing you at Kingsmill.

Looks like I'll be waiting until everything fills up so I can be added.  I'll be down that week to the beach house, so if I can come & play just the Saturday round & hang out afterwards to meet everyone.  Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Each day that goes by makes me look forward to this more and more. This cold weather going on now makes me even look forward to the warm days when we're playing and I'm stuck on the beach (a.k.a. the sand traps). I meant to ask what the course record was because I might break it, is it 140, 150, or more? If you thought it was the best score, you might be mistaken. 

Honestly, looking at the course vlogs this looks like it's going to be entertaining and looking at the photos of the villas, it's going to be fun sitting around and just getting to know everyone better.
