Just got it in November. 2017 Ford Explorer

attachicon.gifIMG_20170127_150755.jpgattachicon.gifIMG_20170127_150728-picsay.jpg

Really like the looks of the new Explorers, almost looks like the Range Rovers without the extra 30-40 grand. I'm in the market for a new suv, how do you like the ride, pros and cons? Is yours the sports edition, really sharp.

My wife has always been a Mercedes girl.  She loved her 1983 Mercedes 380SEC, but 10 years ago she had back surgery and could no longer lift photo gear in and out of the huge trunk.  So she sold it.  It had 280K miles on it and ran great.  She now wishes she had it back.

She bought this 2002 Mercedes E320 Wagon (sitting next to my hemi); much easier to move stuff and handles longer items nicely.  It's a nice road car, but a pain-in-the-ass to maintain though.  I expect it to be gone in the next year or so.

Mine is 2016 fully loaded except 2wd.

Biggest con for me is lack of hidden storage. There is no place to store battery cables or hitch/ball or tiny air compressor. Only room is for the stk spare tire. MPG ain't great with the 3.5 std v6. Its a major mod to remove 3rd row seats

Nice having 3 seat memories. It has massage for front seats. It is very roomy. Cameras frt & rear.

The Hellcat is going in next week for an exhaust upgrade. Cutting out the resonators and doing a Borla cat back. My neighbors are going to hate me.

My 2016 VW Jetta Sport. Purchased brand new in Nov 2015. Drives like a racecar but usually gets about 34 combined mpg. I love it.

Very nice. I have my eye on the Jeep SRT to replace my Charger. Not sure if it will be this year or next year since I also like the new SRT Durango.

I don't really take pictures of my vehicles, and the 380 SLC is pretty dirty in the one I have, but these are my 3 in the "toy" category.

Just got my VIP passes for the NY Auto show and the unveiling of the SRT Demon. Odds are good that it will join the Hellcat if it lives up to the hype.

I used to have a red '67 Cutlass 442.  Why in the world did I sell it??   Oh yeah, I remember now... 11 mpg highway, 11 mpg city.

Beats, I'll take the Cutlass! I had 4 of them over the years, but never the 442.
