Good morning all from a cold and wintry Wisconsin. Had snow on and off all day yesterday, but highs in the 40s later this week should melt most of it off. Also got our Christmas tree decorated last night, just need to add the star to the top this evening.

Good Monday morning MGS! Well it has been a crazy weekend, extended weekend when you include the turkey day celebration. Was a crazy sports weekend for the family. Our beloved Detroit Lions did not play well Thursday, then on Saturday my Wolverines got a big win over my wife's Buckeyes, then my youngest had a basketball double header where they went 0-2 on the day - first game we lost on a buzzer beater the second we just plain got beat. Finally, our high school football team fell short in the state championship game. What a ride its been.

Regarding golf, well let's see, I haven't been able to get much speed training in lately but I do have orders en route from Titleist, Scotty Cameron, and Bettinardi so I won't complain too much. Fore!

Good morning all,

Back to work after a long weekend visiting my wife's family for Thanksgiving. A lot of wine and food consumed and a lot of football and Formula 1 watched.

I wasn't planning on buying much for Black Friday/Cyber Monday this year, but I ended up pulling the trigger on the ProSENDR. It's a popular training aid with the pros and was developed by Sean Foley and David Woods. Hoping it'll help with my swing path and form and it was 20% off this weekend.

Already on my second cup of coffee and I try to survive the Chicago cold this week. I think winter is officially upon us and I'm wishing I lived in Florida...

Good Morning everyone!  Warmer this morning at 27º but temp will only get to 35º and we have freezing fog again until noon today.  I'm picking up two storm doors for installation; contractor doing it since it would take me 5 times longer and I would have to install, uninstall, and reinstall before I get it right.  Later, my wife and I are going Christmas tree shopping.  We found a good one last year, so headed back to the same place.

Hope the weather is better in your area and beware of the Monday... (oh crap, it's got me!)

Goodmorning all!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday week and are ready for the sluggish week after. Today has already started off as the Monday of all Mondays. Pretty sure my 10 month old daughter has her 4th ear infection in the past 2 months. Can not seem to get away from these things. Poor girl has had a rough go of it the past couple days and would appreicate any prayers,thoughts, or vibes yall could throw her way. We are hoping for an ENT referral today and maybe tubes to help with this. Trying to stay positive through this all, and not get to frustrated. Adversity is what makes you appreciate the good days more. It builds character, so I am told. 

On the golf side of things, i did manage to GSPro connected to my Garmin R10 late last night. Pretty excited trying this out later. Fingers cross my mix of the minium and the recommended computer specs work. We shall see.

Good Morning Spies! 

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!  Cold Central Florida morning this morning.  It was 65 degrees & windy (a cold wind) at 6:30am. It was 61 degrees at 7am tee time & still very windy.  Brr. Walked 18 holes this morning.  Always good to walk, not going to lie, it was a bit chilly. Supposed to be colder tomorrow morning, in the 50's.

Whew...I still feel full after Thanksgiving. Hope everyone has a great start to the week. No golf activities on the agenda for the foreseeable future. Just putting and practice swings in the house. Well, duty calls, the work in IT doesn't let up so back to the grind I go!

Hope you can find a solution to give your daughter some relief.

My youngest daughter has ear infection after ear infection during her first year, which meant almost continuous antibiotics.  Our pediatrician didn’t “believe” in tubes and refused to discuss the option.  So we found another pediatrician for a second opinion. After being under her care for several months, she recommended the tubes, which were inserted on her first b’day.  That ended the ear infections.  This year, my daughter turned 40 and has 2 daughters of her own.  Best wishes to you, your wife and daughter!

Good morning MGSpies from frosty 25⁰F downtown Buffalo without a flake of snow except for my vehicle on this Tuesday in-office workday Sumatra hot coffee in the mug and Ryan Farish's As Sure As The Sun Rises on Pandora making for a relaxing moment before heading into the building. Errands today after work and need for the heating technician to remedy the hot water heater that wouldn't stay pilot lit this morning and was successfully relit 3 times in the past week.  Had to have a new pilot in the boiler last year so it's my guess where the problem lies. See? No different than golf! Hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning Spies on the coldest morning yet here this month. High today in the 20's, so not a good day to be outdoors any longer than needed. Long workday yesterday, and today doesn't look much better.

It is supposed to get warmer later in the week, but rain moves in with the warmer air too. Looking forward to the community call on Thursday.

Make your day the best it can be, and hopefully something enjoyable or golf related is in your plans.

Good morning spies and happy Tuesday to you. Starting the day off at a whopping 6° and it should climb up to 31° by this afternoon. Highs are bouncing between 30° and high 40s for the next week or so. I wonder if the courses will open up on those high 40s days? We shall see.

Another chilly morning here and even had a small sprinkling of snow last night. We had a play date for the kids last night which is always fun though makes bed time a little longer as they finally calm down a bit. Back to some more work today as per usual.

Ok, so today's high is 50⁰ and I'm looking forward to playing a round. Going to be interesting to say the least, as I will be in 3 layers of tops, and wearing a thicker pair of pants than normal. Hopefully I can work out a decent swing...

Good morning my fellow spies, on this Tuesday morning. 
   The wife  person is spending the day at a spa, unwinding and being pampered after a hard day of Cyber Monday purchasing. She seems pleased that while not at her kingdom’s keep, she still managed to out spend, two small and one middle sized countries. 
   I was going to start by whining about having to wear pants to start this morning’s round of golf in Florida…. But after seeing some of the temperatures post by fellow spies, I will limit my whining to the fact that my golf game is stuck staying between a low of putrid pathetic to a high of a mediocre… Meh.   The courses played and the golfers I have met have made the disappearance of my golf game tolerable. Florida, as with all different golf locations that one might be use to, has a few possibly strange things and traditions to be on the lookout for….

Good morning, everyone. Woke up today with reality finally setting in, no more golf in the foreseeable future. Ten day forecast has lows around 15° and highs around 38°. You know, shorts weather. When you’re a PE teacher (and I use the term teacher rather loosely here) you always get to dress in shorts without drawing any sideways looks so you take advantage of it. Gonna spend the day researching indoor golf facilities in the area to figure out the cost of getting my weekly fix. Guessing the results could be depressing. Will share results tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Nippy this morning on nature coast. No golf today. Thought surgery was Thursday but wife had written down 29th and sure as God made little green apples she was right again,getting used to that after 50yrs with the lucky girl. Doc will try to remove some plaque in leg arteries that resemble old galvanized cold water pipes. Want get rid of hdcp flag been using for a couple of months. If all goes well will be back on tee box Monday with the Monday Moaners.Team game yesterday my 73 couldn't offset an 89 and a 90, felt bad as they struggled. No outbursts though as the are fine people to enjoy a round with. Be well fellow spies.

Good morning all from a cold, and I mean COLD, Wisconsin morning. Temps currently sitting in the single digits as we had crystal clear skies last night, and I am not ready for this kind of weather . Highs are 40 degrees tomorrow and Wednesday, but we are absolutely set into winter full swing.

Not terribly busy day today at work, kids have haircuts after school, and I am working on some new content for some staff articles  keep your eyes peeled!

Hope everything goes well with your procedure. The recovery process only gets tougher and takes longer as we age. I'm starting to face that reality myself now that I've entered my 50s.

I really need to get an outfit Ike that. I’m more of a golfer 365 days a year. So much that even my wife rolls her eyes when I get “dressed up” and it looks Iike I’m ready to head to the golf course.
