Jordan is a lefty

Did anybody else see Jordan throw out the first pitch left handed? Is he the backwards Phil plays opposite his dominate hand?

Do any of you have word handed things? I'm straight right. All the my brothers lefty. The youngest both for the most part. He can do just about everything from both sides.

I am truly ambidextrous.  Learned to play golf left handed and now play right handed.  Switch hit for most of my life with left handed be my preference since I saw mostly right handed pitching growing up.  Can pitch with both hands; hard throwing from the right side and a junk baller from the left (ever try and hit a knuckleball from a lefty?).  As I have gotten older I do more things right handed but the lefty still pops up on occasion.

Lefties are like that a lot. I went to high school with a kid who threw left handed, punted right footed,  and kicked field goals left footed.

Left handed - for the most part, but play right handed. 

 

I can do most things with both hands - throwing in an exception.  At one time I could write with both - that used to freak people out.

Lefties are like that a lot. I went to high school with a kid who threw left handed, punted right footed,  and kicked field goals left footed. 

Some of that is because of what was available.  I could always throw better with my left, but I learned right-handed and I still catch with a right-handed (left) glove when I play.  Why?  Because that's what we had when I was a kid.  There wasn't going to be another ball glove unless I bought one.

 

Same with golf clubs. - there were right-handed clubs and if I wanted to play then that's what I used.  

 

The other reason is that it wasn't that long ago that it was assumed you were right-handed and you were unless something happened co change it.  In school when they taught us how to write they put the pencil in our right hand.  I didn't learn that the left was more natural until I broke my right arm.  Then the next year I broke my left arm and continued to learn to write with my right hand.

That is crazy I guess my grandpa used to write two letters at the same time one with each hand. My lefty writing skills are bad but about average for lefty's  .

I can do most thing pretty well with both. Write right handed. Play golf right handed. Can throw with either hand but much better right handed. I can hit switch but am better from my right side although some people will say otherwise. Play pool left handed. Shoot a bow right handed. Shoot a rifle with either although I'm better from the left side. Same with a pistol. I would have probably done more things left handed if it wasn't so much easier to be a righty.

I don't believe you are ambidextrous when it comes to swimming... I always just go around in circles

Ray Floyd was a lefty who played righty. I could hit lefty but my coaches would never allow it so I lost the skill by the time I was in college. Other than that I'm a righty all the way.

I'm right-handed but I play golf lefty. My dad gave me a bat when I was a kid and that's how I swung it so he left me alone.

Right handed with everything except hockey. I play lefty there.

My eldest sn is one of those weird people that do somehings left handed and others right handed.  I knew he was a lefty when he was about 3 so I bought him a right handed six iron and had it cut down for him.  He learnt to play golf right handed and it gave him way more options in the club department.

I write and use a spoon left handed and pretty much do everything else right handed. Feels natural to me...never was forced to use my right hand, it just happened.

I play hockey lefty, batted lefty, putt lefty, but do everything else righty.

 

My dad hammers with one hand and drills with another. I think he gave me his issues.
