I find now I have to stretch before and after golf.

Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy

I stretched AND rolled in my hotel room before I left. Then I stretched at the course on the range and did my normal warm-up. Freaking disease.

Dang... Came home and prepping for the trip to Aruba. Rounded the corner to check on the pet hamster as we needed to get her ready to go over to a neighbors house who was pet sitting for us. The hamster was stretched out on its side. Immediately saw the water bottle had fallen off the cage so it died from dehydration even though we keep our house cool in the 88* temp outside. Second time a pet decided to kick the bucket before a big trip. Not sure what to do, replace or come up with an excuse....

MDGolfHacker

That stinks.  My daughters hamster died last summer.  One of the tubes to an upper level of the cage came apart as he was going up and landed on him when they fell.  Fragile little guys.

I know this is too simple and maybe incorrect but I've always believed that there's no bad dogs only bad owners.

That's exactly right Rick. I wish my dogs were super well behaved like some that I've seen, but my dogs don't try to attack other things either, unless they are attacking so they can lick your face off.

This morning, like most mornings, I entered Route 50 towards the Bay Bridge, just to get off the Bay Bridge.   Accordingly, I have learned the favorite spots for the Transportation Police and know how they just love to write tickets.   This morning in my rear view mirror, I saw a  car coming up on me like the "bat out of hell".   I lowered my window, pointed down the road and did my best effort to gesture to slow down.  When the blur went by, I saw what appeared to be a gesture commonly known as "the bird".   The next thing I saw was the blue lights of a police car coming on.  A bit further down the road, I saw the guy sitting in his car and the police officer had not yet gotten out of his.   I almost posted this in the happy thread, because I must admit that a bit of a smile came on my face that I was hoping the driver would see.   Does the fact that I had a certain pleasure that he was pulled, make me a bad person.

My happy went to a rant. There's no truck at Lowes tonight, so normally we would have the night off. But, they fired a driver last night and are pretty much forcing me to come in tonight to do deliveries. Unlike unloading a truck with 4 guys, deliveries take a lot longer because there's just 2 of us and we pretty much install what's being delivered if it's an appliance.

So, instead of going home this arvo, taking the dog for a walk, cooking a healthy fish and veggies dinner for us and maybe having a beer or 2, I have to rush home, get changed then drive 20 minutes to the store, probably get yelled at for my poor attitude and deliver crap to people until at least 9 or so tonight, meaning I won't get home until quite nearly 10.

I totally understand your frustration.   But I must accept that things such as that can happen when you're born handsome instead of rich.

Nope. Our town's school music association has a stand at Gillette Stadium that band families and students staff throughout the year, it's our biggest fundraiser. I'm working a college graduation tomorrow, so up at 4, on the road at 5, and check-in at our stand at 6am for a 9am event. Although I have no idea if we'll be serving the usual fare we normally sell at concerts & Patriots games - pizza, hot dogs, beer, etc. We shall see!

Gators are almost a “ho-hum” big deal here. The only time they are removed from the Villages is if they become aggressive or a hazard. You see more of them now because it's mating season. They are pretty cool to watch especially when they take a bird or other animal “out”.

A absolutely perfect shot to a blind hole location, right down the middle of the fairway about 230... get to where the ball should be and there is no ball.

I don't always see the ball well, so I need my partners to help. All of us will watch a shot, know right where it is out in the middle, get there and there's nothing. Happens more often than is fair.

I feel your pain.

Can remember when the parking lot was a bulldozed stand of trees with only some of the stumps removed and parked where you could find a spot. Really second rate.

Not even 4 year old water heater is starting to leak. WTF is that about? We have city water so it's not a hardness issue.

The only saving grace is that I got the 9 year warranty one.

When we lived in CT a water softener was not required, FL different story definitely need a water softening system.
