Keeping the iron sets separate for now, I sense tension there. Did manage to get some comparison pics below of the best behaved of the bunch, the 6i. Apex '19 vs. Sub70 699 is similar to my eye, but drastically different in design. Excited to play them against each other.

I booked 4pm 9 holes walking so we'll see.

The 7i muttered something under his breath, I couldn't tell if it was "jive turkey" or "jerkey five iron" or just "five" it got tense for a while. The jacked lofts I blame for it, 'roided up they get emotional when you accuse them of being the wrong number.

Today the “Para-nine” wood was everything I have been hoping it would do..

3rd hole, 170 par three- hit slightly fat, but made the front of the green- par

4th par 5, second shot to about 50 yds, beautifully soaring shot - par

5th, long par 4 uphill- second shot from 165 onto green, with 6 foot birdie opportunity- missed- par

8th par 3 170 - dead in the middle 2 feet from landing spot- par -one of the group yelled “illegal club” haha

15th par 3 174 yds- slight pull/draw but super clean hit-went into bunker- par putt robbed bogie

16th par 5, second shot clean baby draw to 60 yds, easy par

in total, 6 hits, no goonies, just smiles- extremely happy with club- no more 5 iron sweats

I had to run some errands with my wife yesterday and she suggested stopping at Ross. I was looking to find some polos or hoping to cross paths with a rain jacket. I didn't have luck with either of them, but I did pick up a pair of Adidas Ultimate 365 shorts at a good deal. I got a pair of these last year that were dotted with the Adidas logo, but this pair is plain grey. I should be able to wear these with a lot more of my shirts.

As a self proclaimed “walking minimalist” I picked up a Stitch SL2 this past weekend with my Dad’s club logo on it. I’ve read mixed reviews, including negative from MGS, so I accept its a gamble.

Surprisingly I haven’t seen much on the forum by way of reviews, so I may do an unofficial review for the duration of the summer on walkability and, more importantly, durability

Not a club but just got my first super stroke putter grip… do they always smell like a pool liner? Hope that goes away. A little obnoxious. Going to attempt to blow it on in the morning and see how I like it

Two additions to the bag this past month.

First is a new driver shaft for the Stealth 8* head. Testing a Graphite Design Tour AD XC-6 X Stiff. I am excited to decrease the weight from my current Aldila Rogue's 73 grams to the Graphite Design's 65 grams while hopefully keeping the launch and spin low. 

Second addition to the bag is a MP-20 HMB Driving Iron which is a lot more forgiving 2 iron than my 2019 P790. The numbers are back already on the GC3 and this thing is a high launch, low spin monster. I can't keep the spin low enough on windy days with a hybrid so this thing is my fairway finder. Gapping could be a little better with my 3 wood as this was carrying 245 yards! I'll have to grip down if I want a 230 club.

I’ve got to admit, this Paradym 9 wood is rapidly becoming a bag favorite! So many uses for it.

par 3’s, par 5’s, long par 4’s, choke up for shorter shots, full swings, I mean it’s just been amazing. It’s almost replacing the 7 wood I hate to say, but my longer shot game has become so much better since getting the 5,7, and 9 woods. I always called them grandpa clubs, but I guess I kinda fit the bill at 67, so ….

I love mine.  Been walking with it all year.  Not a lot of real estate for carrying things, but that's kind of what you want in a carry bag.  It's made me strip down everything and only bring essentials.  Six golf balls, Tees, Sunblock, Gold Bond, Bayer, and a couple gloves.

I picked up an older club that was supposed to be here today it didn’t show up, but it was the Cobra F-Speed 3 wood. I still have the F-Speed 5 wood in my bag because I love it and haven’t found anything I like better yet, almost 20 years later I know lol, and have been curious about how the 3 wood played for years. Eagerly awaiting this club and was hoping to take it to the range on the way home from work tomorrow but no dice it seems

Glad to hear.  Definitely never been one to carry a lot of stuff, basically the same essentials as you.  And I'm keeping my old Sun Mountain so I have it for trips, etc.  But I think this will work great for my weekend rounds and whatnot.

Have been thinking my current wedge setup is great from the fairway and around the greens... but feel my greenside bunker game has suffered (used to be a strength in my game).  So I picked up a 56/14.... hoping the added bounce will bring some "bounce" back to my sand game. 

To add it into my bag... will need to make some room, so the 54 and 58 will come out.  That will leave me with my set pw (42*), set aw (47*), Vokey 50*, and this new 56*.  As of late, my 58 has been used less and less (at one point it was my all chips all the time club - but have been working on using more of the green run my ball to the hole... which gives me more consistent distance control than trying to gauge the spin with the 58 - so it has been relegated to the tight pin over trouble... a true lob wedge).  Hoping I can manage that lob/flop shot with the 56... but will have to see how the increased bounce impacts that shot... we'll see... the fun is the testing .  I'm pretty confident I will have better results from the sand with this, so it will get a fair shake in the bag.
