Found a deal I couldn’t pass up today….a new Golf Galaxy opened in Madison and as I was heading down there anyways to golf today I stopped by. First 100 visitors got a mystery gift card and I was visitor 93 ended up with $10. They also had $10 off $50 and no exclusions, so bought a dozen - ProV1x for a grand total of $34 and change

Nice snag! too bad its likely too cold to want to play them. Those balls just go but I can't imagine playing fall golf with them.

What have I bought lately? Everything because my stuff was stolen from the car at a nice hotel. Just a note to everyone, it's worth it to lug all your junk into your hotel room. Basically, everything in my signature was just bought with the exception of the putter. The only thing different from the set stolen is the 915f, I went from a 16.5* to a 15*; I bought a matching set of Callaway Apex hybrids (so those are different); in the wedges I matched the 52 I already had then added the matching 56-60. The 915f was the only thing not new, but damn if it's not as close to new as you can get. It was just one of those clubs that I couldn't find in a current model that felt better and gave me the numbers I was looking for. Also, I'm still debating on which bag to buy. Looking at the Sun Mountain C-130, Ping Traverse, or Mizuno BD-4; maybe an Ogio Woode. We'll see.

Just a FYI if you are really interested in a Sun Mountain C-130 is that Carl's  Golfland has NEW 2019 model bags for 179.00 shipped to your door.

[Grand Stranded]

This is my favorite golf site, but for the past few months it’s the only one i go on that continually crashes and freezes. This is my 3rd attempt to post this.

Am I the only one having this problem?

Try clearing your web browser cache and cookies. It happened to me the other day.

I played one sleeve today and actually saw some pretty good results with them. Was windy AS HECK, but hit one drive dead into a headwind and still got 250 out of it, and then hit one 273 on the last hole of the day. Will not be playing any more of them until next year for sure though. Was a special occasion round today and just had to try them

I went a little nuts. I just kept coming across great deals.

First I got the Adams Idea Driver new for $115. It had a womans flex shaft that was replaced with Diamana 'Ahina Stiff and Im really enjoying this driver.

Got the Stealth 16.5* head for $60 and had the prolaunch red shaft

And the most costly one was the mint 425 max head only ($190) which I set up with handcrafted Haz Black. Also trying out a Motore F1 with this head.

 I got the 'Ahina, Motore and Haz handcrafted from Proclubs for like $35 each. All low launch low spin which work best for me. 

The struggle is real

... Been trying to solidify the top end of my bag. Wanted to put in a 4 hybrid but love my 4 iron. Hybrid is longer but not as accurate, 4 iron is accurate but not as long or the best from light rough or fairway sand. Decided to try the DHy 4 since I have had quite a bit of success with my DHy 3 the last several weeks.

... Today I put it in my bag and the very first shot from 197yds left me an eagle put from 10 feet right and a little past the hole. Dayum! Next shot was another par 5 from 201 and hit it right where I was aiming to the right front of the green with water guarding the left side.  Two swings from 197 and 201 and two birdies. I think I found the answer to the question:  what is longer than a 4 iron and more accurate than a 4 hybrid.

Redvanly shorts, whoop band, primo golf joggers.  All three have been a huge hit!  I also bought a baracuta g9 Harrington jacket (the original golf jacket) in beech.  I had the g9 in navy as a kid.  It may be the best jacket in the world other then a Barbour jacket!

Have a new shaft which is coming hopefully in the next 3 or 4 days. I will wait to reveal which one it is (no not ventus) however I have never played or gamed this, but the deal just seemed too good to pass up and I think it could certainly help add to the consistency of my driving.

How many weeks from order to delivery for you?  I assuming since you live on he west coast it was a shorter lead time.

I bought one of these about a year ago. I love the custom fit. Gives me much more confidence. I would say i have reduced my putting strokes 2-4 per round. I love mine.

They check all the boxes for me to include looks, performance, feel, and most important is how much my handicap has dropped since bagging them. I’m pretty sure these are my forever irons ️

Just pulled the trigger on 3 wedges from Sub70.  Replacing two PXG's in the bag and had room for another.  Got 54°, 58° and a 60°LB.  All in the TAIII.  Bending the 54 and 58 strong by 1°.  Weakening the 60 by 1°.  I'll get some pics on here when they get to me.

Placed my order on Sept 6th and got the putter Oct 19th, they were super nice and refunded me $100 cause it took longer than usual which was awesome of them. Overall the order/fitting/and customer service so far has been really top notch!

I picked up a barely used Taylormade BRNR Mini Driver over the weekend. No idea how I will fit it into my bag but I just couldn't pass it up. Love the look and the feel.

All items are arriving, the grass came .. bit disappointing was a little threadbare not as the picture but I will use it all the same.

The rubber base came, that’s heavy duty but won’t stand up but can be rolled up .. I may change my thinking a bit on this one and how I set up the storage. 
Impact pad arrived its 10-15mm think (1/3” - 1/2” ) so one layer has been cut to size. I have another layer.

Still waiting on the gorilla double sided tape.

I think I won’t fix to the base but I will attach grass and impact pad together and that can live in the garage and I will roll up the rubber mat and keep outside out of sight of Missus Ding Dong …

Took the opportunity to see if my current irons and driver shaft are really the best for my game.

With my consistent decent play at this time, it seemed like the perfect timing for this to occur.

Less than a 1/2 mile from my house.
