I agree. Its fun. I prefer playing a white ball but they're still pretty cool. The blue/silver ones look great.

I just got a couple doz of the Pro Plus (white version). I've only played a couple of rounds with them but they seem to be similar to my MTB Blacks which is my gamer.

I think you will find them to be more or less equivalent.

I actually really like them. I enjoy Snell and want to support what is more or less a small business but access is an issue. I feel like Dean unfortunately suffers a lot of indirect barriers to getting his products in the hands of golfers. Being able to grab Maxfli Tour at Dicks or Vice at Target is a big plus for me.

These are still in my list to try. But it's hard to beat my gamer, the Z-Star. I have the XV to try, some AVX, and I bought 2 dozen Maxfli Tour at the end of last season. I need to get through those first.

I played with the black pro plus balls today. They look great and I love them.... unless you hit into the rough.  They were near impossible to find in the deeper stuff.  The best bet was to get some reflection off of them, but I ended up losing two just by not being able to find them in the areas where I hit them.  Guess I just need to hit the fairway more often

Actually, Taylormade’s entered that partnership with Foremost in 2019 (Nassau was exclusively producing the core/mantle assemblies for their urethane models until that point). A bit ambiguous as to what the partnership entailed, but it didn’t appear to be an outright acquisition. The more likely scenario was an equity investment to essentially reserve permanent capacity, however it did not appear to impact Foremost’s larger customer’s much (DSG, Wilson, Volvik, Vice).

It will be interesting to see what happens to this partnership following Taylormade’s acquisition of the Nassau factory in late 2021 since it seems a bit redundant given that they now have full control of their factory of choice.

I haven't played the Pro Plus, but I do play the Vice Pro and I love it. It has green stopping power that I don't seem to get from other brands of balls. I have tried several other brands that advertise "Spin Skin" and other brand handles that are advertising slogans, but I get the performance that I want at a much lower price.

As attested here, the balls must be good.  But beware of customer service.  IF you you any problem with your order, it will be a big problem.  I ordered the Pro in red.  It came in orange.  They would not exchange without me paying the postage back to Germany.  I did so regretably.  Then the balls sat in German customs for a month.  Vice did not want to send me the correct balls until they received them.  Then my balls finally come.  They only send my 5 dozen when I bought the promo 6 dozen for 5.  The 6 dozen is what I received the first time but not the replacement.  I ordered my balls in early April.  Now it is June and the order is yet to be complete.

Still love playing the all white pro plus. When I need to be fancy I always get a few boxes of prov1x for Christmas that I use but I love these as a true gamer. They have some slight durability issues with sand and tend to wear a bit faster but no different that what you may expect for the cost

Ha. I’m for the Pro Plus shade, and it’s out of stock … but I’ve been mixing in their Vice Pro (and TM TP5) as of late due to Snell still restricting purchases to two dozen at time. So no $28.99 per dzn opportunity with them.

I don't get the shade balls. It looks like they were red balls and the red wore off because they were submerged in water and mudd for two years. What's the appeal?

But, thumbs up to Vice for trying different products.

Just got my 6 doz order (one free doz) I'll take all of those down to Florida since I've got a 2 doz here in Ohio that I'll keep. I really like the Pro Plus but it did take 2 weeks to get the order delivered. It spent a week at Fedex's Paris facility. That's one thing II liked about Snell - my order was always delivered within 3 days. On the other hand the VIce 5 + free doz comes out to just over 24. hard to beat.

I have to say after playing with a dozen of the shade balls... it is now my favorite color (pattern?).  I have never played with a ball that is easier to see or to find in the rough.  Something about the contrasting color makes them stick out.  I hope they keep making them as I plan on playing them going forward.  (That being said, I understand it isn't for everyone).

Picked up a box of pure white Pro Plus balls at target this weekend for a planned DIY ball-fitting project. If anyone is looking for the black or gold versions (both sold out online), they're at least still in stock at my target. I'd have to imagine they were restocked or people just tend to not go to target for golf balls . They also had the Drive balls but no Pro's, Tour's, or any of their other types.
