@berkeleybob the NFL Draft is in April, and will be held in the Motor City. A lot of preparations already underway to showcase the event and city.

Congrats. to all the Chiefs organization and fans. Hard to stop a dynamic QB like Mahomes.

Hoping that your day is the best it can be, no matter what is in your plans or on your schedule, that at least something enjoyable also makes up your day.

Good morning everyone. Great win for the Chiefs. Not that I care (I’m a Cowboys fan) but the wife was happy and that still counts as a win for me. Watched the game at a good friends house. He’s a Niners fan. Glad they were winning at halftime as he brought out his good bourbon to bring in the good luck for a strong finish. 

Let’s just say I made the most of what I could because it wasn’t out anymore after overtime, lol. Really need to get me a bottle of Weller. Hope everyone has a great day ahead as we all get back to the grind.

The day is going to be overcast, with rain and possible snow in the forecast, bug change from the summer like weather last week. Finishing up work in a hour, my company did not have any issues keeping the Super Bowl attendants connected to their texting and and other phone services while at the game.

Going to go crash for a few hours sleep, then back at it tonight.

Long, but alright day of golf. Great playing company with a combination of some good and bad shots on my part. The wallet didn’t get hurt but also didn’t get fat. 
   Nothing big going this Monday morning. Keeping a low profile before heading of to H-town for another round of Medico’s this week… Here is to all of you having a great, prosperous, and safe week.

Good morning all. Its’s Monday I’m tired and the hum of fluorescent lighting is a minor annoyance at the moment. New crew coming in to build out some of the fiber network today. Get them started in about an hour then paperwork and some YouTube golf videos on the horizon. Shouldn’t be too rough today. No sun just clouds in the forecast here bit of a bummer. My 8th grader is nervous as he put in for a special program they offer at the HS and he finds out if he’s accepted today so fingers crossed for him. Hope you all have great days

Good morning all from a more February like morning in Wisconsin than we’ve had in awhile. Should be a pretty busy day ahead of me today, but nothing out of the ordinary. 

Super Bowl was pretty entertaining last night, and I won $100 in a family pool so that was cool!

Good morning all!

Had a nice weekend here, things got very busy. Went to a friend for a bit so the kids could play, ran errands, took the kids bike riding and ice skating. It was great though and good to enjoy the warm weather. Looks like we will avoid the worst of the snow which I will take, but then just cool, still not overly cold. I am sure more snow is to come but the break has been nice. Otherwise rolling into another week.

when are they finally going to move the Super Bowl to Saturday? They have 2 weeks off already... sheesh.

great game. tremendous effort by both teams. Greenlaw blowing out his Achilles just running on to the field in the first quarter was an omen. what a horrible horrible break for the guy. flukiest SB injury ever.

somewhere LIV is pointing at the PGA and laughing. what a total and complete embarrassment. they need to disassemble the stands on 16. it's inviting disaster and that's exactly what happened. 

happy that I was able to play 18 on Saturday; I don't keep score since it's the offseason but keep track in my head. took about 10 holes to figure out what was wrong and then finished up around 1 over on the back. 

guess it's back to the simulator for now...

Good morning and welcome to another Monday morning, Spies.

It's a dreary, foggy Monday morning here with temps in the upper 40's at the moment. It'll be a rainy day today, sadly. But the rest of the week should be much nicer and sunnier, which will be a welcomed sight.

As mentioned yesterday, the weekend's activities were a success. I was able to come home yesterday instead of today as originally planned. Hopefully we won't have any upgrades for a while now that all 3 that were on tap have been completed. Just some normal clean-up work ahead of me this week, then back into the normal routine of daily work stuff.

@Preeway - lucky you - hopefully you were able to partake in the Blantons & ER as well...both great pours!

Overall, I enjoyed the game and thought the "best" team came out on top in the end (even though the Chiefs were deeply flawed this year...they found a way).  As we turn a page to the 2024 season, hope springs eternal for most NFL fans (well, except if you are Falcons fan like myself ).

Hope everyone has a great & productive week (and hopefully one filled with golf - on actual grass or in a simulator bay)!

Yes, had both. Eagle Rare was great but not really that much better than my Buffalo Trace. Especially considering the extra cost.

100% agree - I def know there is some "hype" to it but regular BT is just as good.

Good morning MGS Troops! Now that the super bowl is over and I am over my disappointment of the loss, (losing Greenlaw ultimately doomed the 9ers) it is time to turn my focus to golf. Wait, my focus is always on golf. I eat, live, sleep golf. (I need professional help.) One should not be so addicted to something like I am. Anyway, the weather here in Cheyenne Wyoming may cooperate this week and I might actually be able get a round in. Wednesday I do have a sim session and I will be able to try the Newton shaft I bought and compare it to the Steadfast shaft which I really like. I have Steadfast shafts in both my drivers right now and they are fantastic. (Thanks @Derek Eskam for getting me to try them last season. Derek is a fantastic golfer and an equipment junky like me.) Also up in the sim session I will be continuing my test and review of the new Callaway Chrome Tour and Tour X balls. Check out the reviews in the Callaway White Box Testing Forum. Good morning! Was rooting for the 49ers last night as a nostalgia play, but I'm very glad that the game was a nail biter and it was even more fun that it went to OT. My daughter told me that she was sad that the team I was rooting for lost, but she was happy that Taylor Swift's team won last night!

Also, over the weekend I won a 2005 U.S. Open Edition Ping Hoofer 3 golf bag on an instagram giveaway! 

Back to Monday morning work with a nice Yeti full of french roast coffee. I have no meetings today, so hopefully I'll be able to get caught up on things I've been wanted to get done for a while.
