If the Ping guys have half as much fun as we did, you will have a better time than you could imagine. You're lucky to have some great mods guiding you through it.

 

 

For our forum member challenge, we had 2 close guesses. oaks guessed 21 but by virtue of decimal points, our winner for week 8, and first person to win 2 weeks of Puma gear is Nunfa0 with a guess of 23. Nunfa0 also had the highest guess of all members who submitted a prediction.

Tomorrow is my first post-challenge round. I won't spill any of the juicy deets, but some old friends will be rejoining me. Just a few.  It's so nice to have data to use in these decisions. You'll find out what made the cut and what missed it... eventually

Thanks, man, but it takes a PB to beat a PB. I left a few out there that day, and it cost me. All credit to Dave, he got it done when it needed to be done.

Congrats to Reese, Joyzee & looper on a great week 8. For some reason I just could not get the driver distance. I hit 13/14 Fairways but, My club is so wet I needed an airboat to get around. There is no roll.

 

Congrats to nunfa0 on a great guess.

 

So now, who had the most personal bests? Who had the most rounds and who improved the most in the categories? Is it enough to keep the Cobras in the bag? Stay tuned.......

This is huge. We are at 1479 replies and about 29,000 views.

My guess is that multiple people will be 21/21 since there's much more challenge data than baseline data but I'm most interested in seeing what the values end up being. I'm expecting some eye-popping numbers.

I'm not exactly sure how I missed this party until this week. But I have read all 149 pages (on my phone app). And it was a great read.

 

My wife plays cobra max one length and a Cobra F6 driver. they have been amazing for her game, legitimately 10 strokes of her hand since see got them.

 

Great work to the testers, mods and the ever present forum hooligans.

Amazing improvement never have I ever heard of a set of clubs performing this well with this wide a range of golfers....from 18 handicaps to 7 handicaps these things flat out perform. I think almost every spy would purchase a set if you showed them these numbers. Foz improved 25.6% over his previous handicap,

HardcoreLooper saw a 48.6% decrease in handicap,

Joyzee10 improved a whopping 47.8% (a huge statement for game improvement irons with a low handicap golfer), MD took the one length plunge and improved 17.9%, and last but not least ReeseDW improved 34.9%. That should be on an ad somewhere hey want to improve your handicap 40% well put Cobra clubs in your bag today.

According to Cobra's website, the handicap range for these clubs are 5 to 25.  All the testers baseline handicaps were within this range and all saw improvements. I'm surprised at both Joyzeee's improvement (being a single digit) and Hardcore'e improvements. As a handicap goes lower, it's harder to improve and more or less what is required is fine tweeks to improve what is already working. For Jouzee and Hardcore to improve that much is unbelievable and that speaks volumes about these clubs.

The same thing happened to me for last year's challenge. I made sure to stay up on it this year.

 

This has been a great thread. Congrats to all the testers on a job well done! You guys certainly managed to keep it interesting. Congrats to Nunfa for the great guess and being the only two-time winner!

Cobra definitely has a great opportunity here with this review. These guys have gone above and beyond on their testing and their analytics. I can't imagine what it's taken to do everything that you have.
