Sounds like you have the same issue I do. I have found that there is obviously something in my closet affecting the weave of certain fabrics, as they seem to shrink over time. Once I figure it out I’ll let you know. Now, off to get some ice cream….

Good morning because there is coffee and plenty of it. What a day yesterday was for the forum, well what an awesome last few days it has been. The TM announcement has certainly brought some excitement and we had over 500 new members join the forum yesterday! Hopefully they find this thread and for anyone new if you see this WELCOME! Going thru some data this morning and working on getting some thoughts together on the Mevo+ before adding the next phase of the Pro Package and more additional data points.  I have my normal Sunday afternoon round planned with the guys and it should be a windy one.

  Taking my time getting home as the home course is still more applicable to water polo than golf. Just embracing the fact that..

Good morning MGSpies on a frosty clear view of the Moon early Sunday here in WNY  up early to help with scraping frost from daughter's vehicle glass as I saw her off to work as I do whenever someone is leaving the house and feed the corgis since I'm up and MyGolfSpouse can continue sleeping unhindered by the yapping one.  Today features a courier trip for late breakfast with son in Rochester - can't say enough about seeing the sun yesterday after more than 10 days of 100% cloud cover and a sunny drive will also be nice today.  Sending my intentions for health, happiness and for golf to be a part of your day!

Good morning Spies on a cool, crisp, but CLEAR sky Michigan morning. Currently mid 20's, but going to lower 40's today, and it appears we will see the sun for more than a brief glimpse today. 

Still planning on a trip to the range later at Carl's Golfland, and also think I may look at and possibly demo a few clubs while I am there.

May try the Cobra and Ping drivers, although I have no plans to change unless they are dramatically better than my current one.

Interested in trying a couple hybrids, to see if I can get some better distance gapping at the top end of my bag versus what I currently have in play.

Glad to see that Chris, @cnosil is progressing, and hope to hear later when he is discharged and on his way back to 100%. 

Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable may be in your plans.

Good morning spies and a happy Sunday to you. We were supposed to hit 50° yesterday but never got above 38°. Currently sitting at 26° and I’m not going to hold my breath for the 50° forecasted for today.

I was finally able to regrip my GW and SW yesterday. Working on a little experiment for a grip change throughout the bag. I’ve been using the Golf Pride MCC+4 midsize for a few years now but am looking to change it up. Current contenders are the Tour Velvet and the Z-Grip, both midsize but not +4. Each has their pros and cons for me so the decision is still up in the air.

Good morning all!

Visiting my dad in California right now. My brother is in town as well, so we hit the golf course yesterday. Coming from cold and wet Scandinavia, the weather here couldn’t have been better. Sunny, windless, and easy temps in the 50s.

I have to say, golf things are cheaper here, so I’ve been in a kid in the candy store. I’ll share that on the appropriate thread.

@Jim Shaw Thanks for the “Dennis the Menace” reference. That’s exactly how I’d describe my wife’s 6-year-old grandson. He’s a complete tornado whenever I see him with is siblings and parents. We have him stay over from time to time, and it’s as if he’s completely happy that he has so much elbow room to safely burn off all that energy. He’s turning seven next month.

@cnosil Happy to hear you’re on that road to recovery. All the best.

Good morning spies! I have wifi at the right time so buenas Dias from puerto adventuras. We are going to spend most under the sun at the beach but I am going to try and see if I can get a collectivo to go down to Mayakoba and check out Sunday fun at the LIV event. Have a good one everyone!

Good Morning all!  Dinner last night for Grandpa was a success!  I'm glad I picked up a few extra short ribs because we barely had any leftovers.  The risotto came out good too, just a simple one with parmesan.

Today we've got not too much on the docket so maybe a trip to the golf store is in order?  I should probably try to finish doing some more drywall, but we'll see!

I was his coach for all the firsts and fortunate to be just a parent for the lasts but damn it is hard. Today was a roller coaster of emotion for me and my wife as well. 

Well it’s super hard for your kids lasts but I’ve had to go through lasts for 4 of my grandkids , they all played basketball in high school and some college and it never gets easy but it’s a thrill for them to tell you how much they appreciated you being there , so relish it and hug them extra tight when you get the chance

I woke up to beautiful, red glowing sunrise through the blinds this morning. I don't see too many of those as I'm usually up before the sun and in a windowless factory when that lazy bum decides to come up. 

@cnosil I'm glad to see you are in the road to recovery and are almost ready to go home. I wish you nothing but the best as you heal.

Good morning Spies,

Cuppa going down nicely and better yet. I can actually see the sun. It appeared during my outing with my wife yesterday. I was momentarily confused by the bright shiny thing in the sky. We visited the city my father in law grew up in and drove by his childhood home. Oh and we also hit a great candy shop, a bakery that’s been in existence since 1896 and a coffee shop for a great latte. On the way home we hit the Turning Stone Casino and I placed a minor Super Bowl bet. I bet the under.  

My son’s birthday is in a few weeks. We asked him what he wanted. He jokingly said Super Bowl tickets. Both of us our Niners fans. This led me to finding my ticket stub from the 49ers vs. Giants playoff game from January 3, 1982. The ticket price was $20. How ticket prices have changed.

Sunday, another Sunday.  Hope you all have a blessed day.

I got to play Friday although my best laid plans were thwarted.  I made a tee time online on Tuesday for three of us to play 18 at Hernando Oaks.  We arrived in plenty of time to find ..... no carts, and tee times backed up over an hour.  No ones fault really, just that between the day I made my tee time and Friday the weather became awesome and about 1.1M people showed up to play Friday.  In addition to a league going on.  The pro shop guys and the cart barn guys were absolutely awesome but nothing was moving that log jam.

So .... grandson and my friend and I headed over to Silverthorn, and by the time we decided to do this and got into the rotation it was really too late to start 18, so we only played 9.  And I played ..... possibly the worse 9 holes I've played in years.  I just couldn't get going.  My grandson beat me by 21 strokes - 21 strokes on just 9 holes, that's how bad it was.

And now today it's raining already and will likely rain all day.  So ..... the pork butt is in the crockpot with enough dry rub to raid Arizona and some sweet BBQ sauce, and I'll watch videos and the golf channel all day and dream of better days.

A few things from yesterday. I hit some mizuno pro 225 with graphite shafts and saw no real difference in performance like I thought I would. The biggest thing that I did like is I had the feeling of where the club head was more than my irons. I think that is going to be the upgrade this year when I get irons. I just want to test out wedges with graphite shafts as well to see what that’s like. Hope all have a wonderful day

Good morning and happy Sunday, Spies. With today being my daughter’s birthday, it’s no golf this AM and off to a birthday brunch for her today … which I’m more than happy to do.

Hard to believe she was born on this day in Chicago, in a snow storm 11yrs ago, and thankfully a day after the Ravens/49ers Super Bowl. As the saying goes, the days are long, but the years are short … soon before long I’ll blink, she’ll double in age and hopefully graduate college. Savor the moments.

Hey just thinking about this but is there a place on the forum for course reviews?  There are so many spies in different locations and lots of us travel and play, if there was a list or reviews by spies when people are traveling that would be great.
 If it’s already a thread, my apologies for not searching hard enough (I did try, I promise)!!

Good morning! Yesterday was spending a lot of time with the family and it was one of those days I hope to remember when I’m old. Nothing extravagant or anything; just a day when the kids said “I’d like to do X.” The wife and I said yes. Off we went and had a lot of laughs along the way.

Today we’re headed to Ann Arbor, Mi to watch women’s gymnastics. My daughter and son are both very into gymnastics and are very excited to see “real” gymnasts compete! The best part is that there’s a Dicks Sporting Goods close by and I’ll have a bit of time for “browsing”
