Technically more than 1 iron model in the bag, so if they have a T150 in 4 iron then go 5-P in T100, that's a blended set.  Even though it may not be blended in the way we think of having 3 irons of one model and 3 or 4 of another.

Yeah, exactly if the stat was true blended like 4,5,6, T200 and 7-P T100 it would be practically nothing on the tour. Perhaps a couple on the LPGA

I almost went 5,6,7 in T350 and 8-P in T200, but I was happy enough with the way the 350 P looked and felt, I just went straight set.  But the more I see of the T200, the more i knda wish I had gone blended.

Yeah and while I haven’t looked at many lpga witb in awhile they seemed to go hybrid somewhere around the 5i or 4i and rarely see some sort of mix of irons.

I think the bigger blend for pga comes from dropping set pw and using vokey or other brand 46°

If they would just make something similar to the VG3 irons and rebadge them as T-250, they would have gold. Endo Forged, undercut cavity, decent sized top line, and forgiveness for days. My buddy just bought a mint set from like 2019 or around then. They look like a ZX5 type of iron, and OMG…I hit a few 7-irons the other day and fell in love. Feel like you’re hitting a rubber superball. Endo Forged irons…the T-200’s I had were not in the same ballpark feel or performance wise. Hopefully the new ones (or even the 350’s?) will be better. Still gaming 714 AP-2’s.

Another member, Tescor made the statement - Interesting stat..80% of tour players blend their sets while 30% of amateurs blend.....with the T150's, it will be easier to blend with the T200.......

Just to make sure, you booked it with one of the Team Titleist special fittings right/  Not just with a local course or shop?  Not everyone has the fitting carts yet, so just want to make sure you'll be hitting the new irons.

If you are seriously in the market for the new ones, it'd be worth it to me.   As I believe you will get your order in ahead of the public pre launch fittings and get them pretty quickly.   Of course that's easy for me to say, my fitting was 6 miles from my office.   But you all know me, I would have driven the 2 hours as well

I am going to the fitting in Exton haha, I'm in coatesville that week for training at work and I drive past the course on the way home. It felt like destiny.

Didn't you play the 2021 T300s for a bit ? .. I still play the T300s and love them

I get emails sometimes about the Titleist fittings in North Jersey .. but I did see it was in Exton ..which is a bit of a hike.

I got this email and the fitter is Adam Nash is the fitter. He's on their site as a titlest fitter not a partner or retail. 

 

I did have concerns about that though, I had to be aware of my blind desire to just sign up and hope.

Or, you could be sick like me and have both the t-100s and t-200 sets and then flip and flop different make ups pending on how youre hitting whichever it is that gives you a better chance to score.    Typically, I do have the t-200 5 in the bag.  But I also care two U505's that I use for a 3 and 4 iron.  so.... But pay no attention to the maniac I am.

yes, I still have the T300's.  Just played them Wednesday night and had one of my best ball sttriking rounds in a couple years, played them again Thursday morning and you would wonder if I had ever swung a club in my life.....Warning there is a thread about this to come

Could anyone who has done the fitting with Titleist for irons in the past give me and idea of what to expect?

I heard they do fittings slightly different than other brands or fitters. I have had a fitting for irons in 10 years.

What have you heard they do different?

I have had iron fitting from several companies and they have all been done the same. Get a feel for golfers game, their miss, their bag setup, hit some balls with current clubs, find out what the golfer is looking to get out of their irons. Get handed a club to hit a few times to see the performance and feel, make adjustments til either there is a winning setup or that the current set is the better option

Just had my fitting yesterday and ended up in the T100 4-9 with KBS C-Taper X-Stiff. Went Vokey 46F instead of the set wedge as I felt it was a bit easier to flight down.

The consistency the T100s deliver, even on mishits, is astonishing. I carry a 7 pretty consistently in the 172-175 range on a stock shot, and even on toe strikes and thins the worse carry I saw was 167.

I also hit the MBs for fun, had my best numbers on a pured MB, but I’m just not at the level to game these. They look absolutely incredible though.

Personally, I like the size of the T100s irons over the couple of T200 that I have. I just love the turf interaction that I get out of them, also for some reason I can hit the sweet spot more consistent with the smaller head.
