Peated Aussie whisky aged in coffee seasoned casks, blended with black coffee and smoked maple syrup. Goes down a treat after a very long fortnight of work

We had G&T in thermal cups for a walk with lincoln earlier. Last night Tim and I plowed through the dalmore.It is so good.

We had a CAO 62x6" Preferido with it. The scotch held up to the medium cigar!!!!

Looking very forward to cracking this open tonignt. Was only available in Australia through one distributor, and they've only just finally shipped them this week. The other 2 Offerman editions were fantastic, so I've been waiting very impatiently waiting for this for a while now.

Ha I actually am just transfering to the secondary on this batch. Fruited Saison sounds delicious. I have a cherry tree in my new backyard so I will have to decide what style I want to make with them.

With the heat and humidity and the oncoming hurricane or tropical storm, drank a lot of water and Gatorade.  When I play in our crazy weather here in the lowcountry, alcohol is the last thing I want to put in my body.  On a day when the heat index is around 105+, water and Gatorade is the only thing I want in my body.  Start the round with a Gatorade, drink about  three bottles of water before I reach the back nine, another Gatorade, the another three to  bottles of water on the back nine.  I think as I have gotten older, my brain just does not react to alcohol like it use to, never drink it on the course or after a round.  We are hoping that it dies down to a TS by the time it reaches Charleston.  Generator ready incase.  Picked up all the things that might fly out of the yard and interrupting a family of yellow jackets this morning.  Forgot how nasty those little buggers can be.  Multiple stings on both hands but hornet spray was the last thing they remember.  After two hours hands ok.  Be ready for golf on Friday.  Hoping Florida does ok as well as the rest of the East coast.  Might break out the dark blended and have one if the storm hits us.  No golf, no driving.

Yes they do……from the first blue wax bottle that my Mom gave me to the Owner & Jockey signed bottle for Justify, Breeders Cup Champion, to the 5 White bottles, all signed by UK players and coaches.

It was monday, but with the season changing, I do what i can to find and drink Shipyard Pumpkinhead. It finally made it to Pinehurst, but had to get some in Augusta GA when I was down there a few weeks ago visiting my mother.

Depends on the vibe of the round and other things like timing. I don't choose yes or no based on temp, but on a high temp/humidity day, might switch it up to a High Noon or something rather than beer. I rarely drink liquor on the course -- goes down too quickly and seems to hit harder because of that. 

Our Tuesday night league? Yes, having a couple, and will adjust based on the temps (mostly beer, but on a high temp/humidity day, often pick High Noon rather than beer).

Scramble? Guys' trip? Definitely.

Legit practice round/session? Nope. But fun practice round? Sure, a couple. 

Tournament round? Typically no, but it's mostly small-time tournaments these days, so if things aren't going well, might shift the vibe to casual and have one.

Weekday morning walking round? Unlikely -- might have one on the back 9 or after the round, depending on what's planned the rest of the day. 

 

Performance change is only notable for heavy drinking on course, which I don't do that often -- putting is the first to go (it's not good anyway, but turns really bad after 3-4 drinks), but otherwise don't notice a huge difference in performance/scores.
