... Clearly you don't understand the meaning of the word. I, and all my purchases are pretty offended by unessential.  I have 3 sets of iron heads obviously essential sitting in a box. I have 3 more not needless sets shafted and leaning against a wall. Then a plethora of wood/hybrid/iron shafts that "unessential" doesn't even come close to describing.

unnecessary:

adjective

not necessary or essential; needless; unessential.

What does "plethora" mean?

Took the Adidas S2G shoes out for a spin at Torrey Pines North this afternoon. They were incredibly comfortable but I felt they really lacked in stability on drivers. I just didn't feel like I could get anchored in and not have my lead foot slip as with my traditional cleats. I'm thinking I'm going to return them and go back to the spiked golf cleats. Not sure if spikeless is for me.

lol….. my latest purchase is a new putter to me. I am sure we all have that friend who has multiple putters. He showed up using it and I just like the look. Asked to try it out and 2 days later made him offer.  For now I love it, but give me 3 months and let’s see. The putter an Odessy mini seven

I just ordered a G430 7H, to go along with my 5H and 6H, because Trackman sessions during this offseason confirmed my "on course" experience that I do not have sufficient swing speed to hit a 7i high enough to hold a green. Time to admit this fact and move on to a club that I can hit high enough to hold a green (from 120-130)

It's too soon to tell, got out for a round on a freakishly warm day in early March but the winter has returned to Wisconsin.  I'm hopeful based on the few shots but I've been overly optimistic before...

Well i will be starting the season with new Ping I 525 irons , a Ping glide 4.0 47 deg. wedge and Ping glide 3.0 eye 2 54 bent to 52 degree and a Ping glide 3.0 eye 2 58 degree wedge bent to 57 degree's and going back to a Verticle Groove 12 degree driver but i will be probably be changing drivers again at some point and I am going away from fairway woods and adding a Callaway Epic super hybrid 16 degree's , my bag is static and subject to change on a whim , even i would like to keep the same clubs all season chances of that happening are pretty slim however only the shadow knows

Titleist has their 3 for four loyalty program going on. Ordered four dozen Prov1a as I do this time of the year, every year.  Love saving a few bucks on the number one golf ball.  Ordered them on the 22nd and being delivered today.  Decided to put a five iron back into my bag this week.  According to Titleist, should be here next week.  Just feels comfortable hitting those T350 irons.  Feel I can work the iron more than the hybrid, as I did with my previous T300s.

I see you still using Steelhead Xr woods.  How long have u had them, what do you like?  I picked up a New Old Stock 3 wood Xr from Call pre-owned a few years ago.  On the Tensei blue CK A flex (I am 69 yrs).  I am happy with it, use it mostly from fairway, not tee.  I wonder if newer tech will make much difference at my swing speed.

Drv: PXG 0211, Evnflo Riptide CB Senior, Callaway 454 TI (2004) 10 and an 11, regular flex.

3W: Callaway Steelhead Xr  Tensei Blue CK 55 gram senior. TM Burner Superfast 3.0 M flex.

5W : Titleist TSi 1 on Aldila Ascent 40 regular flex.

Driving Iron: Mizuno MP 18 MMC 3 18 degree, on Mamiya Recoil reg flex.

4 iron:  forged Mizuno Fly-Hi, 24 degree hollow body.

6 - PW: Ping I 500, on Recoil reg flex.

Comfort usually means less stable during the swing.  I tried a pair of Squairz a few years ago, because I have sway problem.  Didn't work.  My sway was not from my feet, it was due to core muscles, which I now work on (Paloff press, planks, Trevor Anderson) and the Sqz were too stiff and I couldn't move my trail foot.  I donated them.

While I don’t normally wear a golf glove, I will when hitting multiple shots in my hitting bay and when playing in hot, humid weather which I don’t normally do.  However, since we are headed to Virginia to play in the MGS Forum Outing at Kingsmill in late May, I’m assuming that it might be humid.

I prefer the Kirkland gloves because of the cost and they wear well.  Our Costco only carries the glove for the left hand and I wanted to also get a right hand glove.  So, while ordering online yesterday, I noticed that Costco carries True Linkswear shoes.  Well now…  I don’t need new shoes, but I haven’t worn Trues for several years.  Used to wear them all the time.  So, being a good ‘ho I ordered a pair for me and a pair for my wife (she has a difficult time finding a shoe that fits well) and if they don’t fit, it’s easy to return then… much easier that ordering from an online golf store.

My $28 purchase of 4 golf gloves just turned into $300.  😂  Oh well.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Golf ho and Costco ho. My free tire rotations at Costco always cost me $300.

We get a lot of rain here in Vancouver, I see my buddies slipping on hills with non-spiked shoes. I'll stick with my spikes.
