I have been playing a Callaway 19 PM Grind 54º and 60º wedges for about 18 months.  Love them.  I've thought about getting different wedges, but these work for me so why change?

I don't use the 54º very much, only out of thick rough and longer bunker shots, but I use the 60º for most all shots around the green, especially greenside bunker shots.  I've worn the finish off the sole.

Looking online, I don't see a lot of these wedges anymore, and ones that are available are in stock only or with limited special order options.  I'm starting to see these available at sale prices, and I haven't heard anything from Callaway about the future of this wedge.

So, when I went into more course's pro shop today, they had one PM Grind 60º on sale for $50 off or $109.  How could I pass up that deal!!  It's not the correct shaft for me, but I can swap out the heads when I need to.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered a second hand Titleist TS2 7 wood and a Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 75g shaft from Rockbottom. They sent me discount code which took 10% off. Grabbed a few grips as well. Hopefully I can trade the shaft that comes with it for part of the tip pulling and reinstall cost.

We have a Kia dealer just around the corner but I have never seen a Seltos before. Very nice looking ....I like the AWD. I’m sure Chanin will enjoy it for another 18 years.

New putter grip. Have gone through a couple but couldn’t find the right feel/fit in my hands. Hit a bunch of putts with some of my older putters and found that my old gamer with a superstroke mid slim 2.0 was great. Picked one up and installed this morning.

The lighter weight grip has moved the balance point of the shaft lower and matches my old gamer hoping that helps with the consistency and allows me to feel like I am shutting the face on the through stroke.

So, I didn't spend the money, my wife, Chanin did. She got a new car to replace her 18 year old Rav4. This is a brand new 2021 new release model. I actually like it although there's no where near enough room in the back for clubs unless you put the seats down. It's AWD so she'll be set for winter.

Nice car, I love the color.

We are debating between the Seltos and the Trailblazer as possible replacements of my wife's car.

If cargo space is a concern, the Seltos is bigger. The TB prices start lower, but if you want to get one that has more to offer than the base LS, it adds up quickly. I'm a TB fan as I have an 02, but if I was to pick, I'd take the Kia.

First new driver in 8 years, Ping G410 with an Aldila NV2KXV Orange shaft. Got a pleasant surprise with delivery: I was quoted 7-9 weeks, and it was here in less than 3. It's the first time I've ever gone over 44.5" on shaft length. At least it worked well in the fitting. Now I need to spend some time playing with the adjustments and finding the best configuration for me.

That is something for us to consider, both cars have are over 10 cubic feet bigger than her car right now, so the main consideration for us is to see which car we can get the most for the same amount of money.

Also posted in "Boom Sticks" don't judge..

So believe it or not, this is my first ANYTHING from Titleist that I've ever owned.. well kind of.. not counting ProV's. I've been looking for a really solid 3 wood to use mostly off the tee. I'm a regular at a local exec so the par 4's are too short for full driver at around 300 - 350 ytd. Additionally, when playing more standard length courses, I still like to use the 3 wood as I still seem to get some decent distance and a little better disbursement for tighter layouts. For a few years old and being a fairway wood, it seemed like a decent score at $70 on the local Offer Up.

Does anybody have any experience with either of these or maybe even the combo? The shaft isn't listed on the Titleist site as a stock option so thinking maybe it's aftermarket? It's not "handcrafted" so maybe just not higher end?. but I'm not sure as I'm also not too familiar with PX stuff either. I bought it with the standard 14g "neutral" weight. I've personally set it to C1 just to see how much distance I can squeeze out.

What I bought it to replace is an Adams Tight Lies 3 - 14*. The better looking one circa 2015. It has a UST Pro Force V2 Black 65g S+ flex. The club has been a rocket launcher when I'm hitting it well. It's definitely much smaller in overall profile and face height and is kind of the reason I decided to go bigger with the 917. It's most definitely a driver replacement when needed so I just wanted something that felt a little more like a driver and less like a fairway wood.

... Us Am's will not be able to tell any difference between a Handcrafted Even Flow and a mass produced Even Flow. Maybe and that is a big maybe, the difference between 2 handcrafted shafts if you want to replace one or add one to another club could be ever so slightly tighter in measurable but again, just not noticeable to 99% that play one. Just a great shaft if it fits your swing. Mid everything and does it very well with a nice, smooth feel. For $70 that is a steal imo.

Thx for the good input @chisag ! To your point, I know pretty well enough not to judge the shaft book by it's literal cover until actually giving it a good few rounds of testing 🙂 Hell one of my favorite shafts STILL and even after testing the Fujikura MotoreX is the UST ProForce V2 which I took out of my driver and is now in the Adams. The profiles of the 2 seem fairly similar so I'm having high hopes for the PX.

All else fails with the PX, I just swap it for the V2. I've also got a Diamana Kai'li 75g XS 3 wood shaft in the garage that I'm itching to put in something.. so who knows?

The wife and I both drive Kia forte's and the trunk space is very cramped, I still can fit my clubs and cart inside my trunk, but it is a tight squeeze, I am making the move to a pickup truck in the next couple of years, as for her's we are going for an SUV, so we  should be getting a lot cargo space, regardless of which car we are driving.
