At least both brands are on your radar now because of the success people have had and you will give them a look when in the market. I never would have tried a Cobra fairway wood had it not been for feedback on this site and the club is awesome. I wouldn't give up the Launcher irons for it, but a great club. Being the only person in a four ball to turn up for 72 consecutive holes actually carrying more than a couple of tees my stocks have been depleted I'm in for the Hogan Ft Worth testing coming up very soon, which is about as far from these irons as possible. After reading some of the Ping G700 reviews though I'm tempted to give them a go just to see at some point in future and will likely do the same with these just out of interest. I'm not convinced they'll be "me" as I borrowed a set of slightly older Ping Gs yesterday to play alongside my Srixon 965s and hit the Srixons far, far better, but I'm still interested in the comparison. I'm guessing that the lower you go, the more the looks of the longer irons will start to appeal to you Disappointing about the paintfill - that makes 2 iron reviews recently from different OEMs with paintfill issues. Interesting. It was so disappointing. I loved the look but the paint wore off so fast! I may have been too hard taking 4 points because of it but it supremely bummed me out. Lol thanks for the support hope it helped some people. I do think these irons are a bit of a sleeper. I honestly can't thank if a single thing. Maybe it's because they sent my irons with my specs so they came just right. If I bought them at a big box store, I would have the grips changed to mid size and the lie set to 2 up with 1/2 inch + on length. I â¤ï¸ these irons and can't find a single thing I don't like about them . I would change only the specs. I probably wouldn't buy used u less that was my only option. I'd buy new because I'd opt for a different shaft than standard. If I did I'd be right about where ole gray is. 2. I think I'd prefer the PW and maybe even the 9 irons to be a cavity back or even blade just to get a bit more feel on them. 3. Would I buy a 3 if they had it? Yes, in a heartbeat. Usually a non issue but there's a hole I need about 5 yards more out of the Cobra and I just can't get it. Do these keep even gapping throughout the entire set? Gapping is really good thru the entire set. If anything the shorter irons are a bit short in distance for me. But the lofts start to spread out more as the clubs get shorter. I stop at the PW which is 44* but their gap wedge is at 50*.
