Another cooler day but I am hoping the wind stays away.  Coffee is brewing and working on a few house chores.

Ok mother nature, what gives? 70⁰ yesterday,  today 45⁰  as a high. Ugh

Nothing but work on this Sunday, and the craziness has already begun on the streets.

youth basketball is winding down with the last regular season game this afternoon and the tournament next weekend. we then get a brief respite before spring club soccer kicks off. may try to get to the range this afternoon, time permitting.

Good Sunday Morning Spies! 

Cold Rainy Central Florida morning, 56 degrees.  No golf today, Ranger duties cancelled.  A lot of rain yesterday & continued all day & night.  So, on 2nd cup of espresso.  Watching LPGA Euro Tourney & Patty Tatavanakit (Love that name) dominating. 

PGA at Riviera CC, looking forward to watching that as well.

Good morning everyone! 

It's a cold one this morning, 24° right now and it's supposed to hit 50 today. I'm enjoying a cup of hot coffee and doing my job as a body pillow for the dogs. 

@jbern I'm glad to hear your stomach has settled down and hopefully the fever will break soon. 

I don't have much on the agenda for today other than grocery shopping. I might get out and season the smoker later so I can finally cook something on it. I'm hoping to get to the range later when it warms up.

Good morning all on this cold Sunday morning, got 2 inches of snow yesterday and this morning it is a clear and crisp 18 degrees. Needless to say no golf around here for a while, leaving for Arizona next week staying about 1and a half hours north of Phoenix. The temperatures there are only in the upper 50s to lower 60s until the middle of the month but that still beats the hell out of 18 degrees. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good morning everyone. Early basketball wake up and hotel coffee. Not really the best combination but it’s what we do for our kids. Throw down a little “free” hotel breakfast and off we go. Hope everyone has a more relaxing day ahead than I.

Good morning! Woke up this morning and it appears my fever has subsided! I’m thankful it was just a 24 hrs thing! Hopefully I didn’t spread it to anyone else in the family. 

I’d like to try to get a little exercise in, but otherwise I’m going to lay low today! Thanks for the well wishes @sirchunksalot!

Don't know why .. didn't sleep well, temp is literally on the freezing mark .. but feeling somewhat more optimistic than usual this very morning! Must be the clear skies and brightly shining sun!

  Tagging the freeze line this morning in my part of Texas. Will be long pants day for any outside activity.
   Graduating to trying two meals of solids today. Everything body wise seems to be in at least a fundamentally functional status. 
    Golf, will depend on the weather and the needs/demands of you-know-who. 
    If golf is part of your Sunday, recommend that you NOT be like TW and avoid any an all “ Hosel Hitting “

Good morning MGSpies from wintery cold WNY on this holiday weekend middle day Sunday with Veteran curling on again after a 4 week hiatus for various reasons.  Dinner plans for later.

Went to a local Veteran sendoff for our beloved local pro Brian Jacobs yesterday, an hour of socializing while we took turns hitting on a bay at the local golf dome.  Brian is heading to Ballen Isles Resort Golf Club in Palm Beach Garden, FL to be their first ever Director of Instruction overseeing teaching pros.  Great supporter of Veteran golf making lasting memories and he will be missed here greatly.  

Hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning spies! Off to PXG this morning to try and take their 100 dollar gift card in the driver challenge. The deck is definitely stacked against me, but my Sim2 Max and I are old friends and we shall see what we can do.   I think I will bring my Lag Shot driver instead and warm up with it. That really tunes my driver swing. It will be 75 this afternoon for short game practice over at the course. Ah spring!

Iam 100% with you on never asking for a discount as a matter of fact I even feel guilty going to the VA as there are plenty of my brothers and sisters that really need it and have to wait months for appointments. I have insurance from work and I just don't feel right about it. In was totally unaware there were discounts available and will pass that news on to a few guys that could use it. Thank you to whoever was the poster that brought that to light!! And thanks for your service Wheelieb!!

Concert was fun last night, even if it was super crowded. Got back home close to 2330 or 1130. Got the pups out and went to bed. Today, since plans changed, we are going to get her two chickens she won. May try a new brewery as well, that is still tbd. And it’s still chilly today. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Funny thing happened last night at work, Heard a voice coming from my golf bag, it ended up being my Odyssey AI#1 CH putter saying let me out it's time to putt!

Anyway, snow melted a good bit yesterday but temps are in the high teens and with the wind chill it feels like in the single digits.

Good rainy Sunday morning everyone, been raining for 2 days , an unusual event for The Villages during winter but La Niña has caused a unusual winter here and elsewhere. No golf today but we shall take our lovely wives to lunch and enjoy the day . We thank our creator for another blessed day and hope yours is the same!

Good morning all and happy Sunday! Not much again on the agenda here today, cold and windy so venturing outside is less than enjoyable. Would really like to get to a sim or heated range but have a feeling it’ll be a stretch to accomplish. Oldest is coming down with something, again, so that is not the most fun. I swear he’s been sick on and off for the better part of a month now. Hopefully it’s nothing as we have no childcare backup plan for tomorrow if he misses school, which would mean a missed day of work for me.

Good Sunday morning MGS! There is still snow on the ground here in Michigan. I read that there is 30 days until spring. Hopefully that means warm weather and open golf courses, we will see. It's been a crazy weekend at the house. We have been dog sitting my M-I-L Corgi while they travel. We have a 3 of our own dogs so one more doesn't really change anything but this weekend all 4 of them have been more active than usual. The good thing is they haven't broken anything, ha! Well may you all have a fantastic Sunday! And if you're in a locale where you can get on a golf course, do it!

Good morning everybody!

Up early in the morning, ready to catch the Genesis Open since nobody pays me to golf, and I think the pros can handle things today. Last night with the fiance was great, we went out to the local dive bar for tacos and pool. I don't drink anymore but I don't mind her having a few brewskis and having fun. As good a time as any to get breakfast and coffee started. Mr. Pickles hears my phone chatter and wants his morning walk as well so off I go!

Look from Friday outside my house 30° and Sunday °55 , love the Midwest !! Golf today and wearing all my Galway Bay outfit with just a underarmor cold weather shirt and shirt under the jacket! This is some great stuff if you're thinking about purchasing rain gear that's not just  rain gear!!!!!

I hardly use mine if I have to ask for it. At Home Depot I have it set up so that it's automatically applied when I use a certain card, otherwise I just don't like asking for what I feel is special treatment. I also don't go out on veterans days for all the free stuff. It's really nice for those people to offer it, but I personally don't need a free meal to feel appreciated. Shake my hand if you feel so inclined and I'm good. The first year after I got out of active duty (6 months back from Afghanistan - I was an airwinger, so nothing really crazy, but definitely saw some f'd up stuff flying CASEVACs) I went to Applebee's for the free dinner, and I was surrounded by career admin reservists and guardsmen that were complaining about all the free stuff they were getting. It really pissed me off and I think my disdain for unappreciative people adds to my lack of desire for recognition.

Good Sunday morning all,

Another cold one this morning, sitting at 29*, but the wind is not blowing, and we are supposed to reach mid to upper 40's later. Many chores to get done today so will have to get started after a couple more cups of coffee and time to talk myself into it... At least it will clear the way for some much-needed practice sessions for the remainder of the week.

Glad you are over the worst of it @jbern, and hope your son is quick to kick it this time around @GolfSpy_KFT as it sounds like you are passing it back and forth.

@cnosil wins!  The Golo 6 won't be making it down to Virginia...  Not a bad putter, but not everything I was looking for.

I've currently got my eyes on something different.

 

Got to PGASS yesterday just to mess around.  Got to hit some of the new drivers.  Cobra DARKSPEED X with the LinQ white is a good feeling club, as was the Ai-SMOKE.  They tossed the Denali shaft in there for me and I have to say that has some good feel too but was different than the LinQ.  I also determined that me swinging a driver in February for any sort of actual fitting would be beyond pointless.  I'm better off waiting until I thaw out and make some actual real swings!
